    Morning grippers !

Wow WW you inspire me, you're going to be busy with Spice and decorating and running, sounds fab

Karb hope the heating engineer bill isnt too painful today x

well I am fed up of feeling ill now. Leg is a bit better, more physio on arm tomorrow, but cold is back with a vengence today :( After 2 weeks I thought it would have gone by now.

Anyway, today I am going to see if I can get some cheap plants for the garden. Its sunny here today...it looks like spring! , but will try and get something frost resistant as although it looks like spring its bl**dy freezin !

Have researched problem with my car washers blocked and so am going to get my head under the bonnet and try and clear that later. Will also get a bucket of bleach and scrub down the front forecourt to try and get rid of the black stuff off the flagstones.... cant afford a pressure washer so it will have to be one-handed elbow grease :p

Hopefully a bit of fresh air and exercise will make me feel better. Hope you all have a good day whatever your plans x

Skint - you put me to shame, I'm cheerfully ignoring the mossy stuff growing on the drive.:o And you have a streaming cold - take it easy!

Just back from a 5km run around the water park - it was quite hard at the beginning but I managed it with two 30 secs walks to catch my breath. Feel quite good now - will do it again some time this week.

Might go on a trip to Ikea this afternoon to look at the bedroom furniture. Will try to control myself - I always end up coming back with weird and wonderful things from the marketplace part.:p

Ended up bringing back a dustpan and brush, 6 tumblers and some plastic food storage boxes for the grand total of £7.:rotfl:

I found the furniture that I'd like and its cheaper than I'd hoped for so good news - will have a look online and see if they can deliver from online orders (sure they can).

Off to the park for a wander with the dog in a minute then will be glad of a sitdown and some tea.

WOW WW !!! thats an impressive list !!!

Ok, you were right... I was a bit optimistic this morning - it must hav been the sun shine which lasted all of half an hour before it became grey and freezing ! I caught the weather forecast for snow over next few days so decided not to get any plants for the garden after all. I ended up just doing some housework ...tidying, ironing, hoovered upstairs, then I put my thermals on and attacked the slabs with a bucket of bleach and stiff broom. I stopped after about 20 minutes as my nose was streaming, managed to make a bit of an impact and have felt a bit better this afternoon so must have done my sinuses good :p

I only booked a week off for easter as DS is at college they only had good friday plus this week off. I'm due back at work tuesday, but I'm going to ring in tomorrow and see if I can book tuesday off so I can take DS to his interview.

Skint - you may notice that there are hardly any outside jobs on the list! I hate gardening. I have aboslutely no interest in it. At least you've done some outside tidying, mine will probably remain ignored!
What do you have planned for today? Hope the cold is better now?
Where are you in the country? More snow!

Its a bit grey and dull here today - will take the woofer to the park in a bit to tire him out so I can get on with the jobs on the Thursday list.

Had a very busy and tiring day but the house looks lovely and clean and smells all freshly done.:)
Called in to the second hand shop that I sold a bookcase to ages ago and the man wants to have a look at the bedroom furniture to buy it from me. He's coming tomorrow and will hopefully leave with most of the stuff and give me some dosh.
Anything is better than nothing and, more importantly, he'll get it all downstairs and out of the way.:T

I also answered an ad on Gumtree for unwanted paving slabs - I have 9 just cluttering up the garden from when the conservatory was built (about 8 years ago!). The bloke has been in touch and is coming to collect them too - don't think its for any money but they will be out of the way :)
Will have a think about what's next on the list to do and crack on with that tomorrow.
Just an hour or so of schoolwork to do later and that's another thing I can tick off the list.

Looking forward to tea - am starving after all that manual labour.:p

:rotfl: I usually leave the gardening to mum and dad when they come down as I usually manage to kill most things :D but I did have 2 large planters by the front door with dead things in. One local cat kept spraying against the side of them so I got mum and dad to move them into the back garden. It looks much cleaner and tidier out the front now and smells a bit fresher ;) The most gardening I do is cutting the grass, everything else has to fend for itself :p

Well done on your list today WW. Good news on the furniture, hope the chap buys it from you and its a bonus if he takes it away !

I'm in the south, and we've had a few snow flurries today, but nothing much thankfully. I had physio this morning then popped to the local garage that does my mot & service and they used their air machine to blow the blockage from my windscreen washer bottle. So now I can see where I'm going and they didnt charge me  Apart from a quick trip to @sda and a bit of washing I've been quite lazy this afternoon but I feel much better thanks.

Tomorrow - I'm out to lunch with friends. I want to mask up all the woodwork on the stairs ready for finishing the painting now I feel well enough to get another coat on the walls. Hopefully that will keep me busy over the weekend !
