Up early this morning - dog woke me up needing a wee and then promptly went back for a snooze on the sofa leaving me wide awake!
Never mind - I'll get my own back:rotfl:

Just about to go out for a walk/jog along the river path with the woofer to get some fresh air and exercise - its not sunny like it was yesterday but its still dry so far so I should make the most of it.
Then its lots of boring marking to plough my way through - been putting it off for ages so it must get done today.

I'm giving myself a mini challenge this week too - there's £20 and a few pennies in my purse and this has to last until next Saturday. I have plenty of food in so there's no food shoppig needed.
Did the shop yesterday and spent £24.55 including 2x 8 packs of pepsi max for work at £4 (half price in Mr T) so not too bad - mostly fresh stuff. Went mad and spent £1 on a half price bunch of daffodils too - they're brightening up the living room.

    Right time to get going.

I too have a bunch of daffodils in the living room brightening the place up once they open.

I do that money thing too - usually whatever is leftover in my purse after the weekend and make it last until the end of the week to make me realise I have enough food in and there's no need to buy anymore food - works a treat for me.

Time to get on here too I think

    Morning!

Yes WW I agree with you about Daniel Craig, but maybe 48 rather than 24 hours - he can go to yours first and then come round to mine! :)

Went out on my bike yesterday for the first time in ages. Found it tough going and only did an hour, think I need to start building up my fitness again slowly. You forget that youre not 21 anymore!

Getting stuff sorted for our car boot today so better get on with it. Got a wash on and will do another two loads, might as well get them line dried whilst its dry.

Plus got some gardening to do. Its all go ......

Ive got a lean month money wise too. Got an expensive trip out in 3 weeks which will probably take all my "spends" for the month, and going to London next month so will have to try and set some money aside for that.

Just started to do what people are saying with making their money inn purse last.

I withdraw what I've allowed myself in my budget minus ten pounds. So that I have an emergency tenner if needed, otherwise chip it off a bill etc if I don't use it.

I hadn't even realised I could squeeze the budget that tight!

The poor love - we'll wear him out!:rotfl:

Just back from a jog/walk with the dog for an hour. I can't go too fast with him as he's only little and getting on a bit and I felt fine when we got back to the house so I went off for another 3km run at a faster pace. I was surprised at how relaxed I felt - I haven't really done much running lately and I really enjoyed it so its motivation to get back into it again.
I saw my b*tchy neighbour as I was just coming back and even she begrudgingly said that I'd lost weight and looked toned. All that happened last year so it shows how much notice she takes of me!:rotfl:
The good weather makes such a difference to how you feel doesn't it? Spring has sprung!

Off for a shower and then its the dreaded marking......

Well I'm afraid you'll all have to get to the back of the queue as Daniel's round at mine first :rotfl::rotfl:

WW glad you enjoyed the walk

Sanch, sounds like you have some nice trips planned

Speaking of car boots I went to one this morning with a friend and it was so cold people were packing up and going home at 10.30. There wasn't many buyers there so might be worth waiting until warmer weather until you do your car boot.

So I managed not to spend anything today, but did get a new CD at the table top sale yesterday for £1 and a new BT cordless phone with rechargeable batteries for £3. Have wanted a new phone for ages for in the kitchen so this is a bargain compared to price of a new one

More tidying and shredding this afternoon..... will it ever end :o

Hey Skint, get in the queue for Mr Bond ... we were there first ! :)

I know what you mean about the car boot. At least this one is under cover and it has forecast rain for later in the week.

WW take no notice of your neighbour she is probably just peeved that you look so good and she has heard the rumours of 007's impending arrival !

Well, unless Daniel has a thing for scruffy muddy puffed out dog walkers he'll be disappointed tonight :rotfl::rotfl:

Had a good day in school today - very busy but felt quite productive. Slept much better on Saturday and Sunday and it really makes a difference.
Good weather again today with a nice run around the park with the dog after work.

And I have to admit that I am a carboot virgin - never been! I think I'd come back with loads of stuff I don't need that would only end up going back to one.:o

    Hi All

Just a quick post, totally tired out after doing the car boot today!

We made quite a bit of money,my friend made more than me but she had a much better class of merchandise! We had a good laugh and like I said made quite a bit but it was hard, hard work! Up at 5am and lugging stuff around from one place to another and we came back with stuff.

Going to save my profits for my days out coming up I think :)

Well done on the dosh making Sanch - worth all the hard work.

Its the last exam tomorrow for the kids so tonight was the last afterschool revision session :j:j I get to finish work at a normal time and not do so much prep work - bonus all round.
Its a big relief as I do the sessions every evening except Fridays for nothing for than a thank you from some of the kids. Here's to getting home before its dark and enjoying some longer walks with the dog.:D

Only 3 weeks to the holidays too :)

I'm trying a new book club tomorrow night - I've read the book and quite enjoyed it, not sure what to expect though.

Looking forward to a quiet weekend and watching the rugby - 2 more days........
