I'm wanting to reclaim the money I've paid for non-receipt of a Kindle Fire from this company, but HSBC want us to complete a form and provide evidence that the company have gone bust, etc. Has anyone else been asked to do this?

Hi it depends when you purchased the kindle?

If it is prior to 1st November 2012, then proving the company (as was) went bust isnt a problem. If you look back through this thread you will find a couple of insolvency notices and practitioners dealing with the insolvency of both Flash Incentives and Wowbuy.com (?) that are the two companies that went bust at different times.

Since 1st November it appears that the "NHSDiscountsdaily" site has a new owner that has quickly changed branding to "HealthServiceDailyDiscounts " (???) and this company is not bust. However a number of customers, including myself have received refunds for our purchases made after 1st November.

Hope this helps
• As the title says I've finally been refunded following on from the email NHS daily discount sent last week (or whatever their name is these days) glad that my stressful time with this company is over. I hope that the rest of you get your refunds too.
• I've also fallen foul of this deal and am having real trouble finding out who the new company are and how I can contact them? I called Chatsworth and was told they're only dealing with any purchases pre 31st October but then wouldn't tell me who the new company were - it's incredibly frustrating, can anyone help?

I feel terrible because the iPad has been ordered by my brother and now he's the victim of the fraud.

I tried calling the mobile number posted for David Phillips and the number for his company but both are dead. Is there any advice or successful refund claims out therefor people who bought this deal mid November?

Please help!

There is plenty of advise on this post how to claim a refund, however you need to contact the bank or credit card provider and report the problem, for non-delivery of ipad, they should be able to make a chargeback from Zappideals or refund you themselves.

I contacted them via their contact page and by emailing mail@nhsdiscountsdaily.com

It's worth noting that the website changed url from nhsdiscountsdaily.com to dailyhealthservic!!!!!!!!!!.com but the email address listed in their terms is still the same.

Yes I did receive a refund for the iPad2 offer
• Thanks for the replies, I've tried emailing the company 11 times now using the email address on the site but have had no response at all.

I've also called the liquidators who have said that they're unable to help as they aren't covering any purchases made after 31st Oct.

The credit card company are sending out the relevant forms for completion, however they've advised that as the purchase was for a voucher to be redeemed for goods or services, it may not be covered.

I'll continue to email as I have been but it's frustrating that some people are receiving replies and refunds whilst others are being completely ignored.

The offer was for an iPad2, you should be able to make a claim as you do not have a voucher that you can use to buy anything with. Good luck and don't take 'no' for an answer.

Is this the same company as

daily healthservice discounts .com (name edited as it is all one word)

We bought a Kindle HD Fire from them at £130. It says allow 14 working days delivery. It is still classed as not shipped and the timer runs out on the 18th December.

I read these pages after I initially bought it and contacted my bank, however now I notice the difference in name.

Can anyone confirm that it is the same company and if possible provide me with a phone number (cannot locate one anywhere on Google or the site) as they haven't answered my emails.

Thank you.

Please ignore my last above email. Reading the final posts it is the same company. I will contact them via the email (though I've used there online contact form and received no answer).

My bank is currently in the process of giving them 15 days grace to respond however I think this will not be appearing.

Once the time is up I shall be asking for a 'Charge Back' (is this the right terminology. I am with Barclays atm, does anyone know the time limit on them for placing the money back in my account?
