I received my cheque last week too, correctly dated and it has been banked.

No sign of the car cradle as yet though. I have an e-mail "Here's your free phone charger thanks to Confused.com MotorMate" regarding this on 10th September.

I received the cheque and, like many others, banked it without checking the date! Saw that it had bounced on my bank statement and received the out of date cheque back today.

No sign of replacement cheque and also still waiting on the car cradle...but as the poster above has said... I will just have to wait out the 30 days... be they working or calendar or whatever!

  • - quickest way to make them pay is .. the whole country stops using the app till the cheques are honoured by your bank
    - deny them the data they crave .. suddenly their focus on your wants zooms up their priority list
    - the second set of 'dishonoured' cheques if ever issued .. hits the interwibble .. and they're finished anyway

Hi, downloaded app as soon as it appeared, did the 250 miles over 2 days at work , first cheque recieved after a week, replacement cheque a few days later and cleared ok.

The only thing I can add is that you had to start and stop each journey, if you forgot to stop it you lost those miles.

Received the first cheque on 22/09/2012. Just got the replacement today without needing to contact them.

I put my cheque in late September via the paying in machine in my bank, got it returned from the bank today unpaid. No sign of any replacement cheque despite the initial one having been sent out a while back.

We'll see if it turns up before a response to my email query to them.
