    Replacement arrived today. Find out by end of the week if this one is any good.

    No sign of the cradle/charger that was ordered at the same time.
  • Received my cheque in the post today = happy face.

  • I am inclined to believe CONfused.com are just a :(CON:(. The driving ability indicator produced a random result, and after 250 miles, I got a score of 50%. The scores for deliberatly bad driving produced 4*'s as did my attempt at good driving (I have over a million miles safe driving history).

    THE £25 CHEQUE from Confused.com WAS DATED 16/3/2012 AND JUST GOT RETURNED by my bank UNPAID :mad:!

    There is no sign of a cradle for my phone :mad:although this was requested before the £25 payment.

    :eek:I now wonder if there is any chance the insurance provided would be of any use in the event of a claim?:eek:
  • newbie here, i downloaded the app on thursday on my 4s and seemed to be working ok but it had a malfunction and now it wont show me any driving data. i can start it and stop it but my wonder is will it still be adding up my miles even though it wont show me my driving data?

    i have tried re-installing the app via the appstore but makes no difference and it doesnt make me re-register etc.

    anyone had the same prob?

  • Not had my cheque or car kit yet... anyone else in the same boat.

    Have had loads of problems with the app too with it stopping mid journey and not seeming to work in the background behind Waze or Google Navigation.

    Anyone else had the above problems?

    I got my cheque at the weekend (must have entered the right email address after all!) and took it to the bank today so we'll see if it clears. It was dated the 25th September.

    Still waiting for the charger.

    I had the occasional prob with using the app (stopping mid-journey for no reason, and data going missing but it would usually come back after a while), but otherwise it worked fine.

  • App seemed to work ok when it finally managed to get a gps connection.

    Received cheque a couple of weeks ago and banked it last week having not noticed it was out of date. Bank has returned it today, and I have not incurred any bank charges. No sign yet of replacement cheque or phone cradle as yet.

    Got an email from Confused.com the phone cradle takes 30 days to arrive after you put in an application for it. However I'm not sure if that "30 days" is based on calendar days or working days.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

    (If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)

    We’ve taken it all on board and made a number of changes which should mean you all have a much better experience of using the app.

    To take advantage of these changes however you’ll need to upgrade to the latest version of the app. If you enable auto update in your app you will receive these automatically every time we make improvements.

    If you’re on the latest version and still experiencing problems please let us know and we’ll look into it for you.
