People are nuts!
Watching G300's on Ebay for a cheap 'spare' take this one...
USED and it went for £101 ...why would anyone do that?
Its only £100 BRAND NEW from Very, Sainsburys or even Vodaphone direct!!!
It just seems amazing if someone has looked around enough to decide they want to buy this model, then not know how much it costs in all the (few) places its sold.
I see this quite a bit on Ebay for G300's people paying daft money, even for ones people have updated with who knows what ROM's.0 -
The G300 used price should plummet when the G330 is sent to the retailers in the New Year. T'would be great if Very/Isme were to stock it, wouldn't it?0

Big thanks to JethroUK and SG for advice re how to save cash when buying this 'phone also to others who are such keen supporters and users. Based on the comments on this thread we have bought one via Quidco and the Very new customer route and this is our first venture into the wonderful world of smartphones - just a pity about this particular owner! So, newly purchased Ovivo sim installed off we go.
Wi-fi working well, how's about 3G. Whoops, cant access the net via a mobile network despite testing it in a few locations and with what seems to be generally very good signals, Calling and texting seem fine, have changed the settings as set out by Ovivo and still no access.
It may be a dumb question but I've looked through this thread and that about Ovivo and cant find a solution. Have also been in touch with Ovivo who say they will send the settings which doesnt seem to have happened. If anyone has the time to post their Ovivo settings for this 'phone or can shed any light then we'd be really very pleased.:o0 -

suggest you add your question to THIS topic as well about Ovivo as its more likely to have fellow Ovivo users see it and hopefully someone can confirm your settings for you.0 -

I had HTC desire with my contract, used it for 3 months, sold it as used on eBay £109 and bought g300 for £70 fish
bought a Sony blue ray player from "Sony centre " online (where the whole world could see it) brand new for £90 incl del
3 months later I wanted a ps3 so i put it on eBay - i expected to get about £60 used - did a quick check via model number to find the cheapest seller on ebay was £350 brand new
I figured I might as well try it at £150 as used (+ £8 delivery)
I kid you not - it sold within 2 minutes of posting my listing
£60 profit on a used item with no guarantee?????
curiosity got the better of me and typed the model number back in Google, clicked "shopping" and it was on the first page, still at £90, from the proper Sony Centre brand new, incl delivery and full guarantee
so you're right ebayers are totally nutsWhen will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?0 -

I've had an email from Isme which includes this link Our best festive deals, all in one place! + shop before 7pm and get an extra 10% off!
but I can't see anything on the site about it.MillicentBystander wrote: »The G300 used price should plummet when the G330 is sent to the retailers in the New Year. T'would be great if Very/Isme were to stock it, wouldn't it?
That article states TalkTalk get it first with other carriers promised in the new year. Well, don't hold your breath; Voda had exclusive rights to the G300 for just 3 months, but no other carrier took it on. I suspect the reason is slim profit margins, which are even more likely to apply to the G330.... and bought g300 for £70 fish0 -
I use GiffGaff and whenever I send a text I receive a message with my balance - is there a way to switch this off on this phone please?0
