If you read earlier on in the thread you will see that I had a battery problem when setting up a friend's phone.

Never did find the cause of the prpblem but a reset to factory default solved it in the end. There must have been some sort of rogue app but having reinstalled everything that was there, we still don't know what.
  • Thanks for the reply.

I have read through the whole thread & have installed a number of apps.

    Advanced task killer

    Onavo count

    Power toggles

    Network control free.

Just checking..do all these do different things or do I only need one?

It's quite confusing reading through this full thread, so I installed what I thought would be useful. Although not sure if any of them are lol.

    OK

    Next question :o

Running ICS (in case you have forgotten me ;) )

When we get an e mail and it has a link to a website in it ... how do we open the link?
There is no highlighting/underlining. Are we missing something?

Using the standard e mail program for our own POP3 account.

Is this a good phone to listen to audio books / music on?

What memory card does it take?

    thanks :T

Yes. Depending on what format your audio books are in, but check on Google Play to see if there is an app to play the format you use. Music play is great, built in app or get a different one from Play store choice is yours.

Phone has a slightly larger battery than many and last very well normally, has a head phone socket on top so you can listen on headphones easily while its in your pocket. It has a decent size speaker for listening out loud.

It takes a standard microSD card upto 32gb. (a good class one is not essential but preferable for smoother video playback if you put movies on it)
