Thank you for this. I bought it from Very and I didn't have to unlock it to use my Asda SIM (as it uses the Vodafone network) so could use it straight off the box.

Its only £100 BRAND NEW from Very, Sainsburys or even Vodaphone direct!!!

It just seems amazing if someone has looked around enough to decide they want to buy this model, then not know how much it costs in all the (few) places its sold.

I see this quite a bit on Ebay for G300's people paying daft money, even for ones people have updated with who knows what ROM's.

I must be the exception. I got the G300 in mid-October, new, from ebay on Buy It Now for £91 delivered.

I've also added a thread on MSE about a cheap 1GHz Android that was released in November, the Alcatel OT-983, £39.99, from the O2 shop, which would mean it works with GiffGaff. The camera doesn't have a flash though, but it takes MicroSD cards up to 32GB.

I read somewhere that Jelly Bean is unlikely to be coming to the G300 thru the official channels

I bought one of these last week, from very for £69, as although we had an account already they had sent the same £30 off £60 deal as a welcome back - so bargain.

I have also bought an unlock code from the ebay seller in post 1 - (wow he's making a fortune)

I'm a bit confused about this process however - it says they don't do weekends, so do i now wait on them sending an email to me, which i reply to with IMEI code or should i be sending that to them now via an already existing paypal or similar email
