Your welcome, what is your O2 sim pay monthly contract or PAYG?

    Sorry, I'm on PAYG.
Tried the call waiting thing you suggested but no joy.

As to your internet setting, I am a bit reluctant to tell you how to change them because I can't try it for myself (on PAYG) and my G300 is updated so the menu/settings may well be different :(

As to the call waiting, what was the spoken message? when you send the command you should I think get a spoken message if it worked or failed.. maybe try doing it on speakerphone?

Otherwise if you go on the O2 site and prod around the support section a while you usually get a live chat box pop up, you could ask an advisor about tariff entitlement and activating it?

    Pah! 0844
I tried with the isme site too and it gave the same error.
Bedtime methinks, maybe try again tomorrow!!

Well, thank the Lord for saynoto0870!
After 15 minutes on the phone to a scouse lady with a nasal problem, I think I have ordered this phone - time will tell whether it appears on Thursday!

When will the "Edit" and "Quote" button get fixed on the mobile web interface?

No dilemma at all. gsmarena omitted the data on the G300's screen - it is most definitely Gorilla Glass. :D

    I'm impressed - great video

    Thanks.
Did a google and found this http://nxwiki.blogspot.co.uk/2012/02/o2-uk-apn-settings-for-android-iphone.html#.UIZuWdR5mSM
Had a look on my 'phone, and it was set to Tesco Mobile which was strange as didn't buy from there!

My friend had that problem too. Tesco Mobile settings with an O2 PAYG sim.

I deleted all the Tesco APNs and set the O2 ones up as per the website you have quoted. Make sure to have the green circle in the O2 Pay & Go APN as opposed to the MMS one.

Have you set up both APNs?

I now have a missed call on our landline from 08448-110090 at 11.16 today and I just checked the 'my account' bit on the very website which says (under 'order status') Credit rejected!

    :(

You don't seem to be destined to join the heady elite ranks of the Huawei owners club  ... life would be so much simpler if Tesco just had crates of them at £65 like they did, I would have a spare too.

So would I. I *think* there are now 8 members of my family with these on my recommendation and not one has given an ounce of trouble so far. This could go down in history as one of the greatest budget smartphones of all time :D

How on earth do you deal with eight identical phones at a family dinner? :D
