I'm pretty neutral on the iOS/Android rivalry. I need my Flash as well as the choice and economy of Android products, but would certainly covet the smooth running of iOS if I could afford it. I think that Samsung were taking the proverbial in producing a virtually identical shape and colour to the iPhone.

well at the moment im more than happy carrying on using my old xperia play, ive a sim contract with voda that has around 3 months left to run so will re assess then
although saying that i am leaning towards sony so will have a look there first, i know itll be a more expensive phone but they have supported the updates for the xperia range unlike some other manufacturers.....more delays on official ics for g300!!!!!

Still waiting for my phone from Isme - supposed to be delivered Saturday. Been sitting at the Yodel Depot since 5:10am on that day and no sign of it. Complained to Isme and they have refunded delivery charge and will investigate it.

"Yodel?"...I might as well whistle for it...

Not sure if I need them yet or not but has anybody used an O2 PAYG sim in this once unlocked.

I set this up for a friend. Texts seem to be working ok but I need to get her to check out internet use on 3G. It works fine on WiFi but haven;t had a chance to check 3G via her O2 sim.

Looking at My O2, it has recognised her phone but suggests that MMS and GPRS WAP is not available to her as the settings can't be texted to her phone.

I'll speak to her later tonight but has anyone got the manula settings in case needed?

Hmmm decisions, just got back and mine is waiting for me. Had a little play (as far as possible as its still locked) and it seems fine on Android 2.3. I have a tablet that runs Android 4.0 so I am familiar with it but not sure how much is to be gained from upgrading.

Who has upgraded to ICS and what version/source and what did you gain or lose is the big question?
