Mine was nearly as quick with Isme. I'm beginning to think that they only do a check when you actually order something, hence the reversal of my credit. But that wouldn't explain my initial limit being £750 and yours £3000, unless Very's is a standard £3K. Would anybody else care to reveal their credit limits, or at least state that it differed from these amounts?

I guess that means well over 8.8mm :)

    Give or take a gnats.

I suppose I am a credit providers wet dream, no other borrowings at all, several long term credit cards always paid everything on time and in full, ripe old age, full time working professional, same address since the stone age, handsome, virile etc. etc.. :A

My current phone a marvel of Windows 6.5 technology would you believe has been sensing doom for a while and has been really playing up today. Ever since I got my wife a sexy little Orange San Francisco my phone knows I have been craving something younger, more of a goer.
  • Another question, if anyone knows the answer, re credit accounts. Can they be closed once paid off? If I did get the phone through Very I'd want to pay it off once they sent their invoice and don't fancy keeping the account open after that.

You don't need to use the account at all. (But do need to set it up)

You can pay by card (they charge the full amount, then credit the £30, so 2 separate entries on your card statement)

You're hardly a prized customer if you never pay them any interest or charges :p

Perhaps they live in hope that 'when' I slip up, it will be a biggie! :santa2:

Looking forward to getting my G300 tomorrow, I have just set up a fresh gmail account, exported the contacts out my old phone to a file and imported into gmail. All ready to sync up.

Whilst working I need my phone handy so tend to wear a belt holder, off to ebay to see if I can work out which size one will fit it.

Err... it's September (but the silly goose is getting fat :))

Somebody was asking how much the quad-core version will be, but I can't find the post. It's only just been released in China, where the price equates to US$425.

  • Funnily enough, KS, I've just been reading that! Have to say the D1's specs look pretty fantastic.

And some raw numbers here, consider the iphone 5 is 'only' dual core at 1.2ghz this thing must be a beast, not sure how I would use it fully.

It's no coincidence. I was reading it 'over your shoulder' whilst hacked into your PC. Those are some very naughty videos you've got stashed away in that hidden partition; does Mrs MB know about them?

Yes, it has more pixels than my 10" netbook! I can see Huawei emerging as the main rival to Samsung in the Android market. Seems they've refused to release this model until they've got it to work perfectly, no doubt at substantial (short term) cost to themselves.

Know about them?? She's in them! :D

PS Agree about Huawei, in some respects they are the new HTC. From what I can gather, a similar strategy.
