its not advice I am looking for for her, mainly just peoples personal experiences/opinions.
I have never had one so cannot offer her any advice, just support.
I know what you are saying but what you read here might not be relevant to your friend's daughter. I think this is why we are all saying the same - she needs to see the professionals.

Arent the pills called the morning after pill for a reason. Weeks after conception might be too late.

I think she needs to talk to the health professional before she makes assumptions.

Its good that she is not facing this situation alone.

Morning After Pills are different from the tablets given for a medical termination. But your misunderstanding is proof that OP should be asking professionals not ona forum!

the morning after pill is different - this course of pills (2 sets) creates a miscarriage about 5 hours after the second lot of pills.

    .

    Hi Judi

There is a morning after pill you are right, but the pills discussed here are a different type and are one method of termination. They are used for the early stages of termination, up to about 9 weeks (I think).

again though - I am not asking for medical advice (I already know that is against forum rules)

I was asking if any of you have had a termination and if so which one it was and what it was like.
I didnt know at the time of posting that the clinics chose which one you have.

Thats an extremely personal question to ask, even by the standards of this forum. I don't quite know what your hoping to achieve from this either, if she doesn't want the baby she doesn't have much choice, listening to peoples opinions won't make much difference. If your hoping for "It's not that bad, it'll be ok" type of responses to reassure her I think you'll be very disappointed.

Okay I'll be honest with you from my experience it was quick, pretty much painless and certainly trauma free. The staff at the hospital were excellent and now it's just a vague memory.

    Hugs to your friend xxxx
