  • I never use loo roll I wash every time so I save easy!
  • Firstly, DON'T put wet wipes down the pan, they block drains and sewers.

Secondly, fold your TP, don't scrunch it or wrap it around your hand! (seriously what's the point in that?)

And parents, you need to teach your kids how to wipe, you can't just complain that they use too much.
  • I simply swing my leg over the sink, press my foot on the splashback, crank the tap up to max - finger on the end - & redirect the jet of water at ones Region de la Nether.
Hey presto! So far I've saved £21.60. Fantastic saving. Well chuffed with myself.
    :)
  • Farmfoods 2 packs of 9 rolls for £4 and going most when at work!
  • i usually buy whatever is on offer providing its nice, thick and soft, some of the cheaper paper goes far too quick for my liking and has a tendenacy for your fingers to go through :embarasse

my friend on the other hand very rarely buys toilet roll, as when she is out and needs to use the convenencies and there is nice paper has a tendancy to wrap it what appears to be several hundred times around her hand, and proceeds to force it into her handbag..............as she says its cheap at no cost:rotfl:

needless to say when she come to my house shes banned from using the toilet :D
  • When I joined the Army some years ago the rule was "one up, one down and one across". I certainly wouldn't recommend it.
  • So to keep the amusement in this subject 'butt' to keep it clean and this is true I swear, a member of my family takes the end of the roll and pulls it through until it comes through clean - and I ain't kidding................
  • :rotfl:always poo at work!
  • Turn the loo roll around so the end hanging down is towards the wall, people will use less as it is harder to get off.

I don't recommend putting wet wipes down loo's as they don't break up like loo roll. I work in a 30 bedroom hotel as a maintenance man & most of the blocked toilets I attend are caused by wipes, I can normally guarantee I will have a blocked loo if we have American guests staying as they seem to favor the wipes!
  • I agree with several others about Triple Velvet. Strong enough to avoid the disas(s)trous finger-through and I buy when the large packs (18 or 24 rolls) are on offer at Asda or Tescos - you can get them for about 30p a roll.
