Wow that's loads for a wedding breakfast!!!!

    I wouldn't worry about it - I don't think it's something people will particularly miss. ;)

    Have a lovely day.

weddings are getting over commercialised nowadays!!
wedding lists at stores with extortionate prices!
the B&G having to shell out for prezzies for the guests - i though you only had to get prezzies for best man matron on honour and bridesmaids, not the whole world
Wait til you have a child's birthday party to do! Now THAT'S a minefield!!
just in case you need to know:

We're having 3 children to the wedding, so they'll get bits and pieces to keep them quiet. Just hadn't even thought about the adults!

How about filling a clear glass bowl in the centre of the table and filling it with old fashioned sweets? Each table could have a different type sweet. This is especially good if there are lots of guests that don't know each other, as if they see their favourite lemon bonbons on another table, they'll probably go over and steal a few! Ideas for sweets include bulls eyes, aniseed balls, cola pips, edinburgh rock, cola cubes, pear drops, sherbet lemons, liquorice torpedoes and cherry lips.

There are quite a lot of online shops that sell sweets like this (several of which are listed on Quidco, so if you buy through Quidco, you'll also get somewhere between 5% and 7.5% cashback). A couple of them are https://www.aquarterof.co.uk and https://www.bagofsweets.com.

This also doubles up as a table decoration (money saving at its best!)

Ooh, if you haven't already got the children sorted, look at this website: https://www.mollymonkey.co.uk

They do fab party bags, which can be personalised with childrens' names. You buy the bag (40p each, including personalisation) and then can either fill them with bits and pieces that you've bought already or buy bits and pieces off the site.

The even do special wedding favour bags: http://www.mollymonkey.co.uk/product.asp?numRecordPosition=23&P_ID=218&strPageHistory=&strKeywords=&SearchFor=&PT_ID=38

I've found them very reasonably priced in the past. For the fillings, they sell sweets and toys. The sweets (mini chocolate bars or candy bead bracelets) are 10p each and the toys range from 10p (for a mini colouring book) up to about £1.75 for a mini cuddly toy.

Depending on the ages of the children, buying a colouring book/dot-to-dot book (10p each) and a packet of crayons (20p) would be perfect for keeping little ones quiet during the speeches.

    Hope this helps!

We made our own with sugared almonds wrapped in lacy material and tied with ribbons to match the colour scheme - very nice (if you like sugared almonds!) Was fun to do in the evenings too.

My father had recently been diagnosed with cancer so my DH and I bought everyone a Cancer Charity badge as a favour.

We also asked for everyones change at the end of the evening for the local hospice.

We filled fancy glasses with candlesand and hey presto ready made table decorations - these were also given to special people who helped
    Fat and proud lol
