Hi

Me and H2B are hoping to get married abroad next year. The only problem is that we want to get married in cold climes and the vast majority of web sites and info are for hot countries. We are on a budget of 5k max but can't seem to find the info and direction we need. I did start reading this massive massive thread but have spent hours trawling through and cant seem to find what we need. The only decent web site i can find is arcticexperience.co.uk but would like some other info with which to compare it.

Does anyone have any fantastic money saving tips or website ideas for a very very new saver???

You could try www.laplandweddings.com or www.weddingsabroad.com or www.scantoursuk.com or www.transun.co.uk and www.travel-lists.co.uk go into holiday type and choose wedding abroad, it then lists the tour operators who do it.

Can anyone point me to any wedding sites or message boards that give help when trying to plan the big day. need ideas on how the speeches should go etc

I used the confetti message board when I was planning our wedding. Been married a year yesterday now, so have weaned myself off it.

I like hitched the best, and haven't found it to particularly !!!!!y. No more than any other forum! Confetti is useless, really, except for the shopping, for which hitched is useless. Hope this helps!
