Beautifully put! I think I might just treat myself to some nice undies as well, half of the fun in a present is in the unwrapping after all! :-)0 -

Emma
Thanks for that, my mind went completely blank and couldnt think of a polite way to describe them:o
Have been reduced to tears a few times by trolls, even though its only through the silly computer0 -

yes of course it can be b1tchy..........
hundreds of bridezillas in the same place  :rotfl:
BUT its also a really helpful place and can find out lots of info on there
just need to be slightly thicker skinned or give as good as you get0 -
Hitched is unmoderated too though, one time a troll started slating my disabled dh (before we were married) and although quite a few members complained to the guy who runs the messageboard, he refused to remove the nasty messages.
Am not putting anyone off going there, just wish somebody had warned me before i'd joined the place!0 -
Help!
I'm looking for a good budget caterer in south oxfordshire area to do some simple rustic food for my wedding in August. I've phoned a few I found on the internet and yellow pages but they some seem to have 'wedding menus' which aren't what we want and are way too expensive, others only do cold fork buffets (which I'm considering now) or have a minimu of 200 people! Can anyone help?
thanks0 -
It is supposedly moderated (taz) but when I emailed this person direct to remove posts that a competitor had put up pretending to me knowing they would be abused by the brides, they did nothing.
I complained to the guy in charge and he accused me of doing it myself, despite the differing IP addresses and the fact the offending individual had done it before to other people from the same IP address.
I was disgusted and have never returned.
On a lighter note a Chocolate Fountain for £14.81

Various people have said that caterers etc are much more reasonable if you just say that you are interested in booking a "party". If you tell them that it's for something else before the quote, they really can't have a leg to stand on if they try to up it when you tell them it's a wedding.
Best of luck. Food is the worst thing to try to budget on....Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0
