awww plum that sounds amazing, bet the photos are gorgeous :)
  • iwantabargain... you need to be careful, some countries are more difficult than others... Cuba for example need documents ranslated into Spanish...

In Jamaica, all we needed to do prior to going was fax over our birth certificates.. soooooo easy....

Always worth contacting the hotel direct, it is usually cheaper thank getting the travel agents coordinator to arrange it... as they are only doing what you can do yourself... in fact all they would have done is made us an appt with the hotels wedding coordinator... not much work for £800...!

Rachie B... unfortunately not.. we had a choice of 4 locations on site... we choose the pier.. the day was about 100 degrees but there was a wind on the end of the pier, so half the pictures, we are all hot and sweaty and the others we are windswept...

The memories are better than the photo's... want to get some pop art'd though, think that would improve them..

arghhhhhh, can anyone help?? I am trying to find venues that allow outside catering but am struggling to find any. The one I have found so far costs £2500 to hire :( so I'm worried what I'll save on one side will be gone on the other...if that makes sense.....

I'm getting quite frustrated by the whole thing at the moment as everything is SOOOOOO expensive and I'm too tight to pay the prices :)

    x x

oh yes and we are looking at Berks/Bucks/Oxon type direction!!

    Murtle,
You could try a social club or a golf club or something? Our local social club is only £80 to hire and they allow you to do your own food. It's nowhere near you I'm afriad but it should give you an idea where to try! Good luck :-)
Comping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!

  • Hi there,

I'm getting married this December and like the rest of you I'm hoping to save as many pennies as possible. I've already bought the dress, which is a corset top and really holds me in. So my question is (and no kinky answers please!) do I need to buy special wedding underwear if the corset is keeping me place all day, or can I just get by with a nice pair of M&S knickers? :-)

    Thank you!

I guess that's up to you, BC - personally (I'm in the same dress situation) I've opted for posh undies. I think my man would expect it and it's nice that when the day's over there's still one thing left to wait for....
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

Trolls are people that post just for the sake of it generally ruining threads and slagging people off because they really have nothing better to do with themselves.

    Emma :)
