Just a quick one, I got my bouquet and buttonholes from this lady:

I'm very fussy about fake flowers but they're truly gorgeous and very cheap for how fab they look. I figured fake flowers would be less panic on the day! Really go check her out, oh and I don't know her in anyway, just a happy customer :-)

Hi, hope someone can suggest to me what to do about the mens suits.

Money is tight on our wedding budget and I think the cheapest suit hire high street shop is Burtons where you can hire for about £50 each suit.

I was wondering if anyone has got married and had the best man and fathers of bride and groom just wearing ordinary suits they already own rather than hiring suits for them all? As long as they are similar shades, would it look ok on the photos as long as they had matching ties? Thoughts on this would be appreciated.

It might be an idea for the men to wear their own suits and hire just a matching waistcoast and cravat?

Just a quick tip for v v v v cheap wedding dresses and bridesmaids dresses https://www.cybergown.com

I've got my wedding dress and both bridesmaid's dresses from there and spent less than £150. All prices are in dollars so you need to add the p+p and do a bit of maths, and also there is import tax to pay once you've received them, but i think my tax was about £13 on the 3 dresses.

    Hope this helps someone!

  • I've been offered a deal with a photographer of £500 for 2 of them to take pictures for half a day. I don't get any prints but i do get 200 or so hi-res images on a DVD to print myself.

They have offered me for a further £95 - 20 8x6 prints. Surely getting the pictures printed in Boots, Snappy Snaps etc... is the same or is it?

    Shoes/Sandals

Can anyone recommend a place for me to buy some white sandals or ballet shoes to go with my dress? I am getting married on a beach and have big feet (size 8), so most shops don't seem to be able to help. Any suggestions would be most welcome.

    Many thanks

    Carolyn

    Hi

I am a dancer so if you are looking to buy ballet shoes you need to remember to order one size larger than your normal 'outdoor' shoe size for a correct fit.
All brands sell narrow and wide fittings too.
There are lots of dancewear websites, and ebay is usually a good place to look.

I think faith.co.uk do larger size shoes too
