    Hi all,

I'm wandering if you could help, i'm getting married in may 2008, i know its along way off, but were saving as much money as we can, anyway were having a small wedding abroad with a few friends, i'm looking to buy a beach wedding dress and have been told buy a friend i could proabably pick one up in the summer sale, as i have missed this year was hoping to pick one up next summer, does anybody know when the sales start and anybody know any good shops in the hertfordshie area.

Have a look at the Bridal dresses in Monsoon. They have some lovely light dresses that would be perfect for the beach and they are very reasonably priced too!

    Hello,

Have finally decided on our date... 1st September next year. Did our first wedding fair at the weekend and was a bit over whelmed!!

Anyway, following a previous tip, I loved the idea of Save the date fridge magnets. have just had a look on the https://www.vistaprint.co.uk website and they are currently doing a special on small fridge magnets. You can even upload your own pictures.

Down from £12 to £1(!!!) for 25 magnets! Deal is only until 12th October 2006

    Bargain!!!

    Hope this helps someone...

We've bought some of these and was thinking about what actually to have in them. I was thinking just writing about the date. Is that what you had or did you do something special for this? Thanks for your help.:A

I got married in 1989 and even though we had 200 guests the whole wedding....including dresses cand reception cost no more than £1000.

Not everyone will be able to do things the way we did, but i'm guessing (without the maths) that 17 years later we could probably do it for the same price or near abouts if we ever got married again.

Congrats to all the Savers here getting married. I do hope you have a wonderful and memorable day.

    * Definitly get it videoed, you miss SOOOO much on the day. You won't even realise the camera is on you, so do worry about that.

    * Make sure your feet are comfy in the shoes you choose wear them in first.....you'll be in them ALL DAY!

    * A reception can be just as wonderful and money-saving by having family and friends provide the buffet. We were swamped by food - lovely, even took a box on honeymoon for a night time nibble!!

    * Find a friend with a nice car to drive the bride to the venue, MUCH cheaper than a limo or daimler type car. Eyes will be on the bride....not the car anyway!!

Relax and enjoy your special day.
