last week of August we were in Blackpool on holiday
we had a day out in Lytham St Anns, while there we
had a look round the shops, there are lots of charity
 shops,amongst them was a Dr Barnardo`s shop,upatairs
they had a wedding dress shop,I believe you can rent
or buy from them. They also had a lot of accessories,
 veils,shoes etc.
The selection of dresses was amazing, lots of current
 styles,designs etc.All in excellent condition,if your
working to a budget it could prove very useful.
Definatly well worth a look if you are in the area.
I have heard since that there are others throughout
the country, might be worth asking if there is one
near you.I must admit I did think that perhaps the
items on offer would not be too good, but I could not
 have been more wrong.
This is quite an affluent area so the donations
are bound to be good,I did notice that they had
a lovely pair of ivory silk wedding shoes that
still looked brand new, apart from some slight
scuffing on the soles these in the box were £15
I know from shopping with a friend the cheapest
 here were £45.
Might be something to look into as if you are
lucky enough you could save a small fortune.0

I went to a wedding fayre today and saw a style of tiara I really like. I know a few people here have said they made theirs - do you think it's practical to make this one?
It was similar to the necklaces you see everywhere with the strings and the beads (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/S06-Elegant-Bridal-Pink-Beads-Wedding-Necklace_W0QQitemZ320030763573QQihZ011QQcategoryZ50659QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem is similar to what I mean, but with smaller crystal beads), but it rests flat on top of your head.
There is then a loop on either side of the strings for your hairdresser to grip it onto your hair.
I really like the one I found, but I don't think I can bear to part with £60 for it.
Any ideas of how to make/find one more cheaply would be appreciated.:TAm not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o 0 0

I'm getting married in bright red so I was pleased to find one on here.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

I also saw a giant ballon at the wedding fayre - £48.
Just found it on ebay for £20!
Also I've just heard of exploding balloons - with smaller balloons inside to pop and send balloons everywhere. I'm having a problem finding them to get to me in Cardiff - any ideas?Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o 0 0

Make sure you get everything sorted out quickly, as that date is sure to be very popular and venues, photographers, florists etc will be busy. On a forum I frequented these things were getting booked up for the triple lucky seven months ago.:wall:0

My partner and I are getting married in Milton Keynes next August. He only asked me a couple of weeks ago but we think....WHY WAIT?! We've spoken to our local vicar and he says no problemo but we are currectly looking for a venue to host the reception. Anybody in MK got any suggestions for somewhere around here that has wonderful food and a great atmosphere but is not tooooooo expensive. We are looking at approx 100 guests.
