On the subject of jewellry, if you don't have a pretty watch, then don't wear one!
We've got a lovely photo of our hands above my boquet with the rings on after the ceremony, but his sleeve was caught on his watch and the big ugly digital watch spoils the picture! Here I go again on my own....0 -
just a tip to save money after your wedding... ive just washed my silk taffeta wedding dress in shampoo- (very mild for dry hair) and it came up a treat.. save spending £100 + on the professional clean.
I got married in June this year so it wasnt years of dirt.
Please test prior to doing it, to check the material.. but I just left mine in the bath all day.
Good luck for all of your weddings, am very envious as ul have such a fab day!!!0 -

ive known people to wash inside out in the washing machine on a gentle wash !0 -
I washed my wedding dress inside out on a delicate wash in the machine and it came out fine. The shower rail in the bathroom is quite high up so I hung it on a hanger on the rail and it dried crease free. Here I go again on my own....0

Vista Print have a promotion for 100 postcards for just the p&p which is something like £2.50. There is lots of designs including wedding ones suitable for save the dates cards and they can be personalised!
Hope this helps0 -
It was cheaper for OH to comission 2 platinum rings from a local jeweller than getting it from a chain like goldsmiths.
It goes on my finger tomorrow:eek:Member no.1 of the 'I'm not in a clique' group :rotfl:
