Mooooo is exactly what I said to DH earlier today and is exactly how I feel! LOL DH has tricked him with a finger in his mouth and taken him and our toddler round to next door to play to give me a break. Bless him and bless our lovely neighbours!

I remember reading yesterday that someone was looking for butterscotch angel delight? (Am I right?) Was it you, Aussielass? I ate a lot of it when I was pregnant but normally hate the stuff. Anyway, (to whoever was looking for it) did you find it and did you like it?!
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.

Yes it was me with the angel delight. I bought some with my groceries yesterday. I'm making it for dessert tonight & having it with tinned fruit.

I'm NOT going to read the list of ingredients on the packet. :D

Have two washing lines full of towels blowing in the breeze.

Dishes have been washed and home made curry with chicken thighs, onions, green and yellow peppers, tomatoes and mushrooms is in the oven for 5'ish!

DD(21) has friend staying so looked out the camp bed.

Boiling rice and have pitta bread to go with the rice.

Meant to get airing cupboard tiidied but can't be bothered so browsing on here.

Front door handle has been fixed this morning so we can use it again!!!

Took my books back to the library so I do not get fined and managed to get an emergency prescription for thyroxine from the local chemist as mine had run out.

    Hugs to everybody.

    Happy Birthday :bdaycake:

VickyA Have a lovely meal celebrating your 8th anniversary. You've successfully gone through the seven year itch bit. ;)

It's actually the 8th month since we were married :D We didn't celebrate 7 months, so I think that a meal is in order!

Catowen well done to your DS :D that's great! Racy Red love hearing about the little coots, sound great fun to watch.

Evening all, it's still like afternoon I keep forgetting clocks have gone back and thinking it's earlier than it is, I end up forgetting to feed the kids until late :o but today have remembered and their tea is cooking, I don't know what to make for me yet as I had the planned veg chilli last night (I labelled it wrongly as veg bake :o ) :o got hungry. DP at work but said it's quiet so he's a bit miffed, he's phoned me about 10 times since he went at 1.30pm, trying not to be rude when he calls AGAIN inc the time I was under the bed and bumped my head trying to get to the phone!

He's just told me about someones pushchair he had to put in the taxi it had a computer thing built in with temperature of the seat, outside, pedometer and all these other gadgets etc, is there any need?!!!!

Anyway, just brought washing in as it's still quite chilly and was dry so didn't want it going damp in the colder evening air. Kids are in a can't do won't do mood and have refused to help with anything. I have managed to get through the huge stack of laundry which needed putting away and a big sack of socks and undies. Only took me 3 hours, can you tell how big it was!

DPs 'dirty stuff' he uses to work on the car etc in has been moved from a drawer to a storage box under the bed, no matter how many times I wash them the smell of oil is there and don't want it on the other clothes. Aswell as the fact we could only fit one set of drawers in our new room (I planned 2 but forgot about the door on my room plans :o)

Have the stuff which has just dried to put away then I'm all done. Also finding when all the laundry is washed and away the boys have way too much! They have over 20 school tops each, about 30 tshirts, and much more, I have banned myself from buying more clothes for anyone until they are needed. Just need to wash them and put them away more often then we have loads :o

Dogs have been bickering over the ham bones, but thankfully puppy has only coughed twice so far today so hopefully the kennel cough is going :D
One day I might be more organised...........

    Afternoon :hello:

Well, without meaning to annoy any of you sleep deprived insomniacs/nursing mums...

I had FOURTEEN HOURS' sleep last night and didn't wake until 1pm today :o It's the first time in weeks that I've had the opportunity for a lie in and my body must have really needed it! I feel great now :D

Of course that meant that I didn't get started "doing stuff" until early afternoon, but TBH I rarely achieve much on Saturday mornings anyway :D

Since then, I've been busy - been to the market for fruit and veg, to Lidl for tinned toms and kidney beans so I can do a big batch of chilli tomorrow, to WH Smith's for my bargain paperback for 99p with The Times, and to Boots to use up 3 x £5 No.7 vouchers which all expire today (got some cleanser, toner, and a new lippy - needed a neutral-coloured one - and paid out a total of £7.50 so am happy with that).

I had a text earlier on from Penny-Pincher!! saying they have arrived on holiday and all is OK.

    ((((Hugs)))) Gingham and others
moggins - you sound more "sorted" with every post! Isn't that what the F U fund is for :D
Penelope Penguin - enjoy the concert :)
AussieLass - butterscotch Angel Delight is nice with raisins or sultanas mixed in ;)
