Good morning all, I hope you are full of the delights of spring and if you are not then have a hug from me. Today I am continuing a massive declutter and spring clean of the whole house.Dlb sounds like you are doing very similiar, so all the best to you with that.Gingham Ribbon, poor you, sleep deprivation is very hard so take it as easy as you can.Meher, welcome.I hope your eye recovers.
First wash is on, I have swiped the kitchen. Will browse on here for a while have a brekkie then hopefully the lazy lot upstairs will be awake so i can do this "spring clean".I fancy a poached egg today. My mum used to make these, bless her.She was very outside in some areas and i remember we once used cut up egg boxes as we had run out of egg cups! I am consistantly inconsistant with being OS,(iykwim) Really good with some things then blow it on other things. Just have to keep at it i guess  .Anyway, off to cook that egg. Might pop back later if i have been good with the cleaning. Have a fab saturday, Love Elaine.

    Good morning everyone,

Just a quicky from me this morning, so a general ((HUGS)) and HELLO to everyone today xxx

    HAPPY BIRTHDAY MRS MW

DS has football this morning, and they are playing their rival Saltash team, so bit of a derby match, and so very important. In fact, so important DS was in bed and asleep at 8.30 last night!!!! Fingers crossed for our boys, they are still unbeaten for over a year now, and we wouldnt want this team to end our winning run!!!
Now school holidays, DD won the best Easter bonnet (in year 4) in the eggstravaganza on Thursday, and has just told me she was picked to have her photo taken, so she might be in our local paper in a week or so, so very excited here!!!!
Have a new job this afternoon, i have to record the trailers for a film at the cinema - never done it before, so hope i get it right - while im doing that, the children will go and see the film, so they will be happy!!
Right, better get moving, im actually showered and dressed, but need to dry my hair - also going to make us all a smoothie - energy food for DS!!!

    Have a lovely day everyone,
    Take care xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Goodness, there were some earlybirds today - I had a lie in until 8.00

Off to DS house today to finish decorating so that it can be put up for sale next week, and we can all have our lives back :T :T :T Once it's sold, we can all sit back and look forward to the arrival of our first grandchild (due in August)

Weather is lovely today, so hope everyone has a good day. Hugs :grouphug: in advance to anyone who doesn't

    Good morning everyone
Finished work at 4 yesterday, everyone else had gone by 1, but unfortunately we get to go home when we've finished our work & my in tray kept filling up. In fact I have to go in for a couple of days during the hols as there are still a couple of big jobs outstanding. Hoping to see the grandchildren at some point over the hols & if the weather is nice they can come & play in my garden as neither of them has one of their own. Although school is closed for 2 weeks I will be working the 2nd week. I plan to do a mega house clean blitz as well, I'm too tired to do more than a lick & a promise during term time, at 56 I'm too old to work the hours I do, but needs must.
I'm also hoping to spend some time developing my little business which I hope will provide some extra income as one of my jobs is onlt short term & I will only get a couple of days notice when it finishes.
I'm going to cook a full english breakfast for hubby as a weekend treat, so hugs to all.

    Morning all

Im up early on a Satutday for me! A man who cut all my neighbours hedges and trees last weekend was supposed to be coming to do mine at 8.30 this morning and hes not turned up and his phone is off.

    Grrr

I hate unreliable people if he couldnt come for any reason he could have just phoned.

So going to try and make a start on some homework I have got for my college course Im doing through work. Its boring so I am not feeling very motivated to do it!

I need to sort through my clothes to, i have got so many I dont wear. maybe a trip to the charity shop later on then if I get round to it!

Going to OH's tonight and will be having a lovely lie in tomorrow as I have got up this morning to wait for someone whos not turned up Grrrrr (again)

    Take care all xx

    Morning all

    (((((((((((((((Gingham)))))))))))))))))

And hugs to everyone else who needs one too.

DD is off to her grandparents this weekend to see dancing on ice. DS is off to his dads so I have a totally child free weekend for the first time ever!! So I am off out tonight ;)

I honestly never believed the single life could be so much fun! I sat there and worked out the finances yesterday and we shall be fine even if I don't find a job very soon, it's amazing how much money went into feeding The Pains DVD and gadget habit! I also have enough savings to last me the next couple of months anyway. To be honest I am more worried about losing the 32" tv than him :D

OS today, get the uniforms dried and ready for Monday, clean the house a little before the grandparents get here for DD and get another load of washing done.

    Morning everyone

Lazy day today. The kids aren't doing their usual Saturday morning activities (judo and dancing). Boys are watching Tracy Beaker and dd has gone to Kwikfit with OH to get my tyres fixed (she loves going anywhere with her dad).

Not sure what we'll have for lunch - baked poatoes with cheese possibly.
Supper will be lamb and flageolet bean stew. Pudding is ice cream with chocolate sauce, might make banana splits for ds2 and dd (ds1 doesn't like bananas)

Have loads of washing to do...as usual :D
