Finally going to the second hand jewellers tomorrow to see if they will give me anything for my rings. Mr Ajmoney is also looking forward to more mobile check-ins :j he has really got the £co bug.
If anyone has a link for nectar ads could they pm me please as I think I may have deleted that email
I would love to list some stuff on fleabay with it being free this weekend but I am going away from Monday for a week and I don't want to risk us being delayed coming home and me not being able to sort stuff and then getting negative feedback. Hopefully I will be in the country for the next one.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

The jewellers we went to yesterday only buy antique or unusual rings so would not buy mine from me. I have a friend who has said his girlfriend will look at it to let me know how to market them online. If I list them on ebay on a FLW and they don't sell I guess it won't cost me anything? I don't know whether to try this or just sell them for scrap and get around £41.
Finally today my OPs have shown although so far they haven't made any difference (not that I expected them to). We have our follow up appointment with the financial advisor tomorrow, shame she will miss out on doing our life insurance for us but we have saved over £60 a month and should get £100 cash back too so thanks but no thanks.
I am going away tomorrow night to Washington for a week and will be back next Monday. I am hoping to get some mobile check ins at the airport on Tuesday morning but other than that there won't be many opportunities for money saving. Although I made a bit of a mistake when asking Mr Ajmoney to change my money for me, I asked for £500 when I actually meant $500. We have $62 a day that we can claim back for food and I don't expect to pay much more than that, especially as most of the tourist stuff is free. I have been very careful with my money this month because of the trip, the less I can spend while away the more I have for Mr Ajmoney's Christmas present and an OP.
It will be all go when I get back as I will have 13 days until I go away again and in that time I want to try and get all the Christmas shopping done and all our baking done for Christmas too. I have some German biscuits to make which we have anyway, need to check if Mr Ajmoney wants a cake though as we will be away. I might just make a small one.
November will be the first month with our new budget so that will be interesting, especially as I will be away for 10 days of it.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Appointments with financial advisor finished and cue one very huffy woman when we told her we had gone somewhere else for our life insurance. If she is going to insist/strongly suggest we have it then of course we are going to try and save some money on it, £60 a month and £100 cashback don't mind if I do. Funnily enough she had managed to reduce her original quote by reducing the term by 1 year and it made soooo much difference...£2, thanks but no thanks. She then proceeded to tell us that we wouldn't be covered so well as her company covers 39 illnesses, our one covers 48, oh but ours has x, y and z and then when she checked online herself agreed with me that so does ours. There are a couple of things that may not be covered but we will have saved £12,240 over the whole term and we have a fair amount of savings so we don't mind too much!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Can anyone help me with a question for Mr Ajmoney please? I remember hearing a while ago that he can claim tax back on his union subscriptions does anyone know if this is true? I am guessing if so that he just writes to HMRC? There is a website but they work on commission which I don't want to pay them!MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Greetings from the USA flying home later today. Have managed not to spend too much $76 on myself and I can claim everything else back. I intend to OP more so I cover this month's interest but I need to OP £70 to not go back into the next thousand with interest. OPs a small amount the other day from a £co payment but I can't remember how much.MFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200

Back from the USA and feel a little better after 13 hours sleep last night, not sure I have ever slept that long before.
I now have 12 days at home before going away again back over the Atlantic for an even more epic journey. I have a few things I want to do before I go away again:
Change dollars back to pounds
Claim expenses back ASAP
Pay Mr Ajmoney back (he got the dollars for me in the first place)
Work out individual accounts for monthly budgetting
Try and sell rings
Close regular savings account and OP
Prepare taps and dresses for FLW on Ebay
Buy Christmas presents by 3/11/12
Buy mum, sis and niece birthday presents by 27/10/12
Bake Christmas cake and biscuits by 3/11/12
Nectar ads for next week
Mobile check ins for £co if near any
I think that is it for now, but first proper monthly OP should be going out by the end of the month :jMFW 2025 No. 7 £1130/£1200
