Wow, you are sounding very organised and focused indeed - well done! Enjoy the research btw......

The only place that I could find with some sort of discount is a place called my wardrobe.com - if you go via quidco you can get £50 off and 15% cashback. They only have a few styles though so it's prob unlikely that they will stock what you are looking for.......

Other than that Quidco do a couple of % cashback with House of Fraser - they have a reasonable choice.

It's really difficult to find any discounts or cashbacks with B. Let me know what you decide to do... (I'm nosey)

I know who not to chat with when I need persuading not to buy something! :rotfl: I looked earlier and typically the ones I like are the most expensive!

We have savings that would more than wipe out our smaller mortgage but part of me feels I should be thinking about this mortgage too but I know it is stupid to think about OPing this, especially as if the interest rates start going up the larger mortgage will be hit quite hard, long before the smaller one as we are swallowed up by the Nationwide collar with this.

As I say, I am rambling so if I have bored anyone then I am sorry.

Sorry, did someone say something ;).

When I talk of paying off the mortgage I really mean I am trying to get to where savings > mortgage. Whether I then decide to pay it off, or whether the interest on the savings (ha :rotfl:) is better, is a decision I'll make at the time. I think a lot of us are just the same. On the other hand, some folk can't operate in that way, so OP's are better. I just think it's an opportunity for more spreadsheets :D/

I do NOT need an excuse for more spreadsheets. If Mr Ajmoney saw them he would know I was truly mad rather than just think I am :rotfl:

Dont worry, you're not alone. I find it extremely addictive too.... DH definitely thinks I'm mad but he also really loves the fact that I take care of the money and do my best to make sure that we are financially ok.... He even humours my odd indulgence here and there.

Ramble all of you like, you're in safe company. But just best not to share too much with friends and family as they will just think your weird.
  • I think everyone here must have a small spreadsheet addiction!

My ebays sales are going ok but not sure I should be allowed on as I do tend to window shop too....

I want to make another OP, I am getting withdrawal symptoms. It looks like my expenses claim will not come though before I get paid which is putting a big OP in jeopardy and is making me think twice about an OP now. Although rather than pay the daily interest off to take the total back down to £138,700 I might pay 19p to round down. After all every little helps and that won't break the bank.

Stupid OP of 19p made to round down. I might save all these small ones until the end of the month or Spiggle will get annoyed on the MFW2012 board.

Did you just make a 17p overpayment?
