    Hi,

Do you always put the money in an account for the end of the month?

Why not just put is straight into the mortgage, and save some interest from that date?

All the other OPs this month have gone straight to the mortgage but I am a bit confused as to why yesterday's 19p addition is not showing so I am storing the money to one side for now. Also I am down about £200 that I need to claim back in expenses but won't be in my account until after payday. I probably don't need the money but I don't want to leave myself too short either. The payment I have put to one side today is the equivalent of the last 2 days interest, the joint OP I would like to make at the end of the month with Mr Ajmoney is a month worth of interest, ideally I am trying to avoid the mortgage balance increasing with interest and this way by the end of the month it will be the same or lower than at the start of the month.

Some mortgages have minimum payments for OPs. For example, Santander won't let me pay off less than £500 at a time.

I don't know about a minimum but none of my other payments have disappeared as such, I am storing the money just in case while I keep watch. If it is not showing by Monday then I will be going into Nationwide to ask as I am effectively down the 19p that is no longer in my current account.

Seeing as when I gave Ebay a go a long time ago I wasn't so fussy on where my money went, what is the price difference between listing something now or waiting until a free listing weekend? I have things I would like to sell but those weekends keep happening around the times I go away with work and I don't want buyers to be kept waiting. I need to get extra cash to OP so I am going to bite the bullet soon.

For anyone who is interested, just checked £co and loads more check ins have just become available. Guess what I will be doing when I go into Edinburgh tomorrow, just need to make sure my battery is full this time.

I have bitten the bullet and OPd the £30 I set aside earlier and have left the pence in the account to build up. This may or may not trigger that 19p.

    Free insertion fees

Your first 100 single-quantity auction-style listings in a calendar month won’t be charged an insertion fee if:

    You are a private seller

The item is listed in an eligible category

Your starting price is between £0.01 and £0.99

You are not a PowerSeller on any eBay site

    Any help? :)

    Thanks Edinburgher

We currently own 16.5% of our house, not very much but I am basing it on Nationwide's valuation on its website and it is lower than we paid for the house 15 months ago. I have also spent a little bit of time working out the LTV for each 5% increment, only another £6,851 until we own 20% of our house. I also think if we were to sell we would get about the same as we paid at least as we have already added value to the house with our conservatory. This takes into account the full total of our mortgages, sometimes I miss our smaller house with its tiny mortgage.

All the money is now showing as paid on the mortgage so I am happy. I am desperate to OP again but am more keen on paying a larger amount at the end of the month with DH so am trying to hold of for 4 days, especially as I have spent a little money on myself for once today.

A neighbour of ours has put her house up for sale, tried to be nosey and look for the price online but I am too early to find anything there yet. All I found was an estimate so it will be interesting to see what the asking price was, the good news is it estimates our house to be 20K more than I found the day. Somewhere between the 2 two estimates would be great :j
