Can't believe this thread still ongoing.

OP didn't read T&Cs, ordered lots of offers, got caught out. Boots has every right to refuse OP access to offers as she's had more than her fair share. End of story.

    Basically this is a rant:mad:
Over the past few years i have spent £1000's on online orders at boots. Of course i have taken advantage of any offers and voucher codes given out.
Just tried to place an order this morning and got an 'error' message telling me to ring customer services.
Basically they have said they're not willing to take any more orders from me. No explaination.
I have spoken to a manager and said i want an explaination as to why they are unwilling to take more orders. If its because i've taken advantage of offers then why are the offers available:(
Currently waiting for a call back from them.
    What would you do?

Hey hey, new to the forums as a user, but been creeping in the back ground.

If you ask me m'dear, I'd demand for a reason, threaten with ombudsman, then report if no joy. But that's just me. :)

-EDIT- Trading standards, not ombudsman. Sorry :)

Trading Standards aren't there to force anyone to do business. Stores can decline to serve anybody they choose to, and do not have to give a reason.

Trading standards wont be interested, its not they're remit.
  • Pat- I can see you have posted a lot but haven't checked them so might be way off the mark. I was wondering if you post under your real name here and have found new deals or glitches which you have discussed here? Also, IF you have an ebay account do you use your real name there?
It is annoying for you that they have banned you from online shopping but you can still buy in store.:)

OP, I get annoyed with the nit picking that goes on in this forum too. Hence very rarely posting.

We are all here for similar reasons.

Boots are well known for closing accounts.

If you were not getting something for nothing - you would just go to superdrug.

I do agree though - that they should state limits per person if they don't like multi-buyers.

Sorry DCFC, but I just had to correct your grammar on this one.
Keep up the good work. We do seem to agree on so many things.

I cant believe you feel the need to post here.
How have i got 'caught out?'
I ordered some offers from boots which were on the website for anyone to order. Boots themselves have stated i have done nothing illegal.
And by the way, i actually do give some to charity.
I guess i'm a better person than you are.
Judging by your posts charity is not exactly your strong point:p
