done, added & edited the first post, hopefully I have the basics right, and will happily add/edit them. Freakily I have already bagged the first 2 posts on that thread so have plenty of space to add tips and advice! Just maybe short on time! If anyone wants me to add particular stuff I will, though if I don't pick it up straight away, feel free to message me and I'll add it.Do You Twitter?

i have listed 10 items for sale on play.com at the beginning of the week but when i search for them on play.com does not show that i am selling them so it appears that my listings are not being displayed. any ideas?
also when i go to my listings, it says that items are priced lower than mine, when i check the item mine is not there, but others are higher priced. very confusing.0 -
Hi Pinkgem
How are you searching for your items, are you using the title or isbn? If you are using the title is your edition being displayed? If you are then checking against the wrong edition that would explain why the prices are apparently different.
Hope I haven't totally confused you or got the wrong end of the stick.

Could it be that you're account is inactive? I've just set up my Play account and had to confirm through a link in an email. Try checking your account preferences for your status.0 -
i search on play.com by title to check that mine is displayed for sale but only other peoples are displayed for sale not mine. even though i have listed mine and they are showing up in my listings in my account
then in my account in my listings it says by some of the items that there are lower prices than mine, but when i search on play.com for the item, it doesn't show mine for sale, and those that are for sale are priced higher than mine are priced anyway0 -

Hi Pinkgem
Are you happy to post a title and its corresponding isbn here (or PM me) and I'll let you know which shops have it up for sale and prices - that I can see.

Hi Pinkgem
Well, that has got me stumpedTotally bizarre!!
There are 2 sellers listed for one item DVDukltd and AVATAR ( so you're not there), and I can't find the other item either. I know it exists 'cos DD has a copy and it's on Amazon.
I know they say you have to wait 45 minutes before your listing shows up, but they are usually instant.
I'll keep looking and trying different things to see if I can come up with anything.
