CONGRATS RUPERT ON YOUR FIRST SALE! :T :j
    Thanks! :D
How many do you have listed?
less than a hundred different titles as am struggling with the bulk upload!
I am going to upgrade for one month at the weekend and will list all the books I can. If I sell enough to make the £20 back then I will keep it. Will give it a trial run.
    Good luck!
Oh yeah, I don't expect a response but I was cheeky enough to email the book depository and I asked if they could tell me how their sales are doing on play and whether they think it's worth it, they probably won't reply but you never know.
You never know! Fair & Fast sent me a detailed email of why they price new stuff at a penny, which they regretted when I pasted the details of the email on the amazon board!
Rupert why don't you start your own Official Selling on Play thread? Or I could start one if you don't want to?
I did start a thread, but only a couple of people contributed to it, though feel free to, I could do without more distractions to keep me from working!

I'm still waiting for the upgrade, are you having problems getting your spreadsheet to upload, or play.com accepting the items, or transferring your Amazon items to the spreadsheet?

I'll know what to look out for then and can let you know if I have the same 'issues'.

It's converting the spreadsheet, adding the columns that state where you're delivering, UK, Europe, or Both, and a couple of other columns that escape my memory at the moment.

I didn't get any official notification of being upgraded! Just noticed that the fees were a lot less when listing.

Looks like it is safe in the world of play.com, but will keep a look out.

    A happy FFM :)

    Hi Annie

Missed your posts, good to have you back.

    The link is here: http://www.play.com/HOME/HOME/6-/AboutUs.html?page=TradeGeneralq

All the info you need is on that page, as easy as Amazon, just make sure on the last listing page you click on 'confirm' before putting in the title or isbn of the next book. I did alot of mine from my Amazon Open Listings page - copying and pasting.

Let us know how you get on, hope you get in easier than me :rotfl:

Hi, I have just registered with Play.com as a seller. I havent yet listed anything though. Do you guys list all your books on both amazon and Play? Also if you do, have you ever sold the same book twice. (wishful thinking maybe).

    Many thanks everyone.

Me too foxybabe - I'm tempted to put them on both as it would be highly unlucky to sell same book in two places. I'm fighting with assignment at mo but aim to start listing next week. Let me know how you get on and how easy it is to list books. I might just list one now and see what happens.
Good luck and keep us posted.

Unless you're listing very highly ranked books, in say amazon's top 10,000 I'd list on both as it would be very unlucky to sell the same book on the same day. If you can access your orders/emails at least every few hours, you may even consider listing on both sites high ranked items, though if in the top 100 I'd only list on one site, the one that would give the most money!

    Good luck!
