Selling your stuff on Play.com

I have listed one book to see how easy it is and it WAS easy.
Not sure how highly ranked my book is but I would stand to make about £1 more if sold via PLAY. I think the main issue here is that you are doubling your chances of selling a book which has to be good for any seller.
BTW I have updated 16 of my 75 pages and today have sold two books (both from updated pages) so thanks for info and advice.

Someone mentioned earlier about starting a PLAY thread - I think this is a good idea so as not to clog this one up with PLAY chat. Shall I go for it???0 -
How do you work out a price for your books on play? I have just tried to list one but there are no prices. Also how are youn working out your postage?
Thanks everyone.Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance....0 -
play thread i started last week.

Play prices are usually shown on the second page of the listing process, where you set your own price, it will show the play price and new & used play traders price if offered by play traders. unlike amazon clicking on the details llink does not bring up the listing with price and other sellers.
Amazon sales ranks show on the book detail page under product details.Do You Twitter?

Hi,
I have seen the play prices. Is that including delivery? or is that the price for the book then you need to put the delivery on top?
I think it is probably just me but i am not finding it as straight forward as amazon!!!!Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance....0 -

price shown is price delivered, they don't have P&P it's included in the price of the item. So no penny books, no complaints about postage not being enough, no bad feedback due to postal charges being inflexible. A few advantages, but I see why you say it's very different to amazon.Do You Twitter?

So the price I put in will be what the buyer pays, then play take their bit and the difference is put into my seller account?
I think i will give it a go.
Many thanksLife may not be the party we hoped for, but while we're here we should dance....0 -

I've just bought several boxes of stock from a bankrupt speciality CD shop and many of them are listed on Play at better prices than Amazon, so I might be joining you yet!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I'm listed, hopefully i can shift some books that aren't selling on amazon!
I deserve a punch in the face for this question, but:
Can someone post the url for the playtrade login. I signed up, listed a book, went browsing some listings etc, then i just cannot navigate my way back to the seller page(s)!"I have enough money to last me the rest of my life, unless I buy something."0
