Hi there
Sorry, but no one can add listings on Play - not even 'pro sellers'.

oh poo
but thanks for the info FFMOne wonders how they choose which ones to list in that case ... presumably only those they have or have had to sell themselves.. back to amazon/greenmet in that case!!!

If someone could just answer this question i would be very greatful.
I have sold a couple of items and got about £8 in total in my account. I noticed that Play.com take an extra 5% off the total if you transfer it to your bank. I thought i would save myself 4p:rotfl: as i was looking to buy a few dvds anyway and may aswell use this £8.
My question is: Do Play.com just take the money out of my seller account or do i have to do something special?
Also i have two cards registered with Play.com as i joined up a few years back. One is for buying and the other is for selling so if i buy a few items and they are more than £8 where will the money come from. The card that i use for buying or the card that i registered to Playtrade with?

Put the item in your basket as normal and then one of the steps in making the payment is to say to take it from your Play Funds. I can't remember exactly how it is phrased, so just take it one step at a time, it is quite clear when you get to the page.

That's happened to me many times before...apparently it seems to be a common problem...
My advice is to keep checking back from time to time...because eventually it will show up...0 -

I've had this happen too - I just relisted and it worked fine.
Something that does irk me is the fact that you can't respond to feedback. Someone placed an order during the postal strike, I stuck a parcel in the post the morning of day the strike ended. And got negged for not posting sooner. Not neutraled, mind you, negged. And given I'd only got 4 feedbacks (all positive) out of the twenty five or so items I'd sold, I ended up with 80 percent. The feedback to sale ratio is definitely way lower than with E-Bay.0 -
Help!
Last night I had 21 items listed on play trade, this morning I only have 10!?
I have not had any emails to say they have expired and they are not in the closed listings.
Anyone else had this happen?0 -
Hi Pinkgem,
I checked my listings this morning to find that two thirds had disappeared. Assuming they had come to the end of their lifespan (as in the 60 days listing period on Amazon if you arent pro merchant) I set about relisting those which had disappeared.
Just as I finished, all my old ones turned up again -
Still at least I have been repricing as I relisted, but that is a couple of hours wasted really - well actually I am waiting for the lawn to dry up so I can mow it.
I dont seem to sell much on Play at all so I may decide to kick it into touch shortlyAMAZON SELLERS CLUB member 0033 come and join us :j make some space and get hold of some cash, we're on the ebay and other auctions, car boot and jumble sales board0 -
my listings have also come back. fortunately i hadn't yet started to relist them as i'd not had chance.
something else strange though - i sold something last night approx 7pm but it was pending until late 11am today when it finally went through. i know this often happens with amazon, but i have not had this with play yet.
also sold something over an hour ago and it's still pending, i know there is a half hour cooling off period but it's been a lot longer than that. i'm waiting for it to go through so i can take it to the post office, but don't know how long i am going to have to wait0
