No, it's not my opinion. Read the wording of the legislation.

While the wording does specify email address, it also states immediately after that the purpose of this is to allow the provider to be "contacted rapidly and communicated with in a direct and efficient manner". There's no reason I can think of for why a webform cannot serve the exact same purpose. Whether you write a message through a webform or through an email client is entirely irrelevant as far as I can see.

One big difference with a web form is that it doesn't create a time-stamped record of the sent message for the customer to retain. Some companies' web forms automatically send an e-mail with the submitted text to the submitted e-mail address, which is good practice, although I don't believe that Ryanair does this.

Why do you repeat the same question that I have already answered?

We had already booked our outgoing and return flights but were stranded due to the ash cloud. One of our party did manage (at great expense) to come back to UK via Paris however we had no choice other than to use the airline we had booked with for both legs of the journey and the only way we could re-book our flights was via their premium rate number>

Are you now going to take up the cudgel against Easyjet? If you are so sure of things then YOU need to instigate legal action against these people.

Is that a legal requirement or just something that you have dreamt up?
Customer can make their own timestamp by using Printscreen

No, it's not a legal requirement at all, but personally I don't mind using a web form that does this, as it offers no significant disadvantage compared to a proper e-mail address.
