I received my 2nd statement yesterday and no extra 1000 points so I've only received 5000 in total so far.
I'm not sure if I should be contacting AmEx or Nectar about it though???
EDIT - Just noticed on my statement it says 'For any queries about your Nectar Account or to redeem your Nectar points, please contact Nectar on 08704100100 or visit https://www.nectar.com

Same here, second statement yesterday and only 1000 points from Amex. The original offer did state points would be awarded by 31st May, so it may be worth waiting another couple of weeks before contacting them.0

I contacted nectar via email... they confirmed that they had given me 2 x 2000pts, but american express had only given me 1000.
They suggested contacting AMEX on 0845 600 5210 or 0800 700 727.
Having tried this over the weekend, I spoke to an indian call centre, who gave me another number to try. I asked her to confirm that this was an American Express number, not Nectar, and she assured me it was. Looking the 0870 number up on saynoto0870.com I found it was a nectar number. Therefore I haven't quoted that number here!
I won't have chance to cal them until later this week, but if any of you guys could let me know how you do, I'd really appreciate it.0 -
What email did you use for Nectar? I've never been able to find one on their site.0

Good news I hope - I have today rung the customer service number 0845 6005210 for nectar american express - explained that my husband and I had only received 5000 points each, and I was told by an extremely efficient man that an error had occured when the offer scheme was set up and that instead of 2000 points from amex only 1000 were being added to each account. He added the missing 1000 points on for both my husband and myself there and then. He said we would see them on our next nectar statement, which you can look at online. Obviously cannot confirm that these have been added yet, but all I can say is that the chap I spoke was helpful, and very efficient and seems to know what I was talking about and knew what the problem was. Hope you all get the same good luck0

Following on from last post - I appeared to be talking to a UK call centre when I rang tonight0

Yep... same(ish) with me... Spoke to the same English call centre, and although the person I spoke to didn't acknowledge the wider problem, he did say he'd put thru a request for the additional points and that they should be credited within 14 days....
*Watches the Nectar points tally online eagerly!*0 -
I suggest everyone who have had Nectar points problems to e-mail Nectar as I did. Their e-mail address is: helpline@nectar.com
Good luck.
I wrote to Nectar:
I was told that I will be receiving 6,000 points when I sign up for AMEX
Nectar card.
After checking with AMEX I was told to ask Nectar for the amount.
So far I can see from my online statement that I have received 2000 then
1000 and 2000.
This amounts to only 5000 points.
Can you please let me know what's happened to my missing 1000 points?
I see from this website that I am not the only one with the missing AMEX
points. _http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=413504_

I received the following reply:
Thank you for your e-mail regarding your missing Nectar points from American Express.
Firstly, I would like to apologise for the delay in receiving your Nectar points and for any inconvenience this has caused.
In order for us to investigate this for you, could you please provide the following information:
- How many Amex statements you have received
- Date you signed up to American Express
We will then be able to pass this information to the Customer Relations department within Nectar to be investigated.
I would like to thank you for contacting Nectar and look forward to receiving the requested information.
I wrote back:
Thanks for your reply.
To answer your questions, I have only received one AMEX statement so far.
I think I signed on with AMEX sometime in March this year.
I received the following reply:
Thank you for your e-mail regarding your missing Nectar points.
I have discussed this matter with the Customer Relations department and they have advised your bonus points will be awarded to your account 7 working days after you have received your second statement from American Express. If they have not been credited after this time, please let us know.
I would like to thank you for contacting Nectar.0 -
