They are getting away with it, because they believe they can get away with it.

Clearly, Orange executives thought they could treat their customers with contemptuous disdain, and didn't bargain on this fightback. Not a single word of explanation, or apology, has come from the lips of the faceless and hubristic Orange executives, hidden away in their ivory towers. They have simply left entry level staff to 'man' the phones, and take all the flack.

What Orange need to properly understand, is that a customer lost, is a customer lost for ever, and those lost customers will retell their anecdotal story of this Orange nightmare ad nauseum. A customer retained however, will recognise the service and goodwill provided to them, and the good gospel is spread instead.

They honestly don't give a ratsass.

On advising I have been loyal customer for 16 years mobile and 11 years BB, I was then told that 'there's no loyalty in wanting to leave your contract'!!!

i.e. Orange can't be bothered to even try and keep my custom.

I asked why I was only being offered this one service and why not one of the Customer Service people had been bothered to look at alternatives or other offers togive me some kind of service, even though my decision is tied into my rental situation and I have made that clear from the start.
I don't want their BB either way, but honestly can't take it because of being tied into a new contract and their associated 'get out' fees; the previous rolling plan was what I wanted and needed.

So there's no Customer Service for us and no interest in us even trying to be loyal (albeit forced)!

Strange company policy - let's p-off all our customers and save ourselves a load of work?

    I was 28/8 as well!
Beat you, I was 25/8, and no, still heard nothing
  • Just to amuse myself, I came up with a little ditty for Orange, to be sung to the chorus of "Don't Cry For Me Argentina". Good job wife is deaf - you should hear my singing voice
Don’t lie to me, dear old Orange
    The truth is…somewhere out there
    All through your wild lies
    Your fabrications
    You surely kmow that
    We’ll all be sueingggg…..
  • What kind of company are we dealing with, one that lies to its customer base, misleads us into talk of special teams orange have not heard of.I have rung them emailed them over the last month and not once have they tried to get in touch.Even when I try to follow there complaints code get nothing back but sorry we are having trouble with our e mail service please ring, surely they are in breach of there code.Instead of Orange sorting this they are now making this a personal thing.

Thats gotta be the longest yet! Mine was extended till 11th Nov

We should run a competition with the grand prize of being a years free broadband.

With all these extensions i think they really don't know where they stand legally. As soon as they do they'll shut up shop and start cutting people off.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Given that I was told they are dealing with batches of 40

And that there are 3/4 in the team dealing with it

I reckon that's 10 for each adviser per day?

And as we have been told 100 then 200 complaints...whatever you want to believe..........that by my estimation should have taken 5 days to wrap up;)!!!!!!!

They are working till 8pm....so there is still time!

In the meantime I have been having a chat with O2..........think that is where I am going to be heading!
Been with Orange since the mid 90's............time to move on I think
  • mines been put back to 27th november,

    first date was 14th oct
    then 7th nov.
