My god no wonder they want to change all the packages! Your getting free line rental! as well as broadband! i think somebodys made a !!!! up on that one. I would guess yes you either need to look else where, or transfer with Orange. If the line is already with them you may get lucky and keep it for free still.

But unfortunately if it all goes as Orange wishes you need to pay £14 pm for BB and your line or see other suppliers. Or if you can afford to be without your internet if it does go down, ride it out and if it gets cut off sign with somebody else.

    ......

Hi there, brand new to this forum and not surprised to see so many other people hacked off about this decision by Orange. I too have a mobile package for which I previously qualified for free home broadband. I have a question if anybody can help:

I first discovered I would lose the free home broadband last week in a letter, and they are telling me (as everyone else) that I need to pay for line rental with them in order for it to continue. However, they already provide my line. I left BT in November last year, and line rental is included on my Orange bill, charged at £0.00. But when I spoke to someone at Orange today, they were convinced they did not provide my landline. Should I presume I will lose this when I lose the broadband package? I am looking at packages offered by Virgin and Sky at the moment to replace the broadband (with a better tv deal included), but really don't know what to do with the line rental - don't want to end up paying almost £15 a month when I've had that free too!

you need to log into your account, on the right hand side of the page you will see:

    explore other Orange services

this will bring up page 'manage your extras'

Again on the right hand side, you will see 'your bundles'

Click on the arrow, should then display your bundled services ;)

    Hope that helps?

    screenprint taken :-)

    Thanks

I wonder if they will up your line rentals if not
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

The website is changing rapidly, wouldn't want to lose important information/evidence.

Orange flexed T&C on a case by case basis at upgrades, I'm sure we will all have to come to a case by case agreement as Orange/EE try to save face publically.

Simply the law is on our side :) Use that to your new agreements satisfaction or leave termination free.

My husband has been a mobile phone customer with Orange for years and part of his contract has been free broadband, a few months ago he was offered a free handet upgrade as long as he signed in for a new 18 month contract and he agreed that nothing else would change ( i.e data allowance, free broadband) and he was reassured it would all stay the same, but he too has had the same letter telling him that from November he will have to pay £14 for broadband which was promised as free with his mobile, he has spoken to 8 different people at Orange today and they don't want to know One called Jessica hung up and another called Nabila just laughed at him when he asked her what she expected him to do, absolutely disgusting service from Orange
Big Thanks to all who post on the comps board

Just saw the same thing... Would that not make "free" handset offers illegal too? The mobile industry is mainly based on such offers, is it not?
