:rotfl:
Based on what you've said. Team 1 and 2 are the same thing. You call the 0800 number to speak to me but I am the highlander/outsourced team.
We don't have a spreadsheet. We do have access to all your BB details and line details. Just no mobile information.
The 08002944747 number CAN fix your miss sold issues now. Call up and see for yourself.
Thank you - for clarifying that!
Got it! - You use the 01415 for outgoing calls?
And the 0800 for incoming calls?
So - for completeness - once they have logged their complaint via Ofcom and Executive Office they can then call
Tel: 08002944747
Explain they have a complaint re: mis-sold mobile contracts - and then you will be able to sanction free BB continues until the end of mobile contract?
Is that correct?
Are you able to confirm that via email?? with the customer?
If not why not? - who sends the confirmation email?

That would certainly get the press interested. There are a few people on this forum that stand out to take this task on. ANY SUGGESTIONS, EVEN FROM THOSE WHO HAVE ALREADY REACHED AGREEMENT IN WRITING.
Hi,
Not sure about others who have `done deals ` but in my case I have had to accept `in full & final settlement` of my case.
So, I feel that I will not be able to take part - though I will give it some thought & ask those in the know as it were to see how I would stand.

Gizitch,
I feel if you are thinking that you want out regardless then you should firstly speak to the exec office and explain fully your reasoning.
If you are unable to get resolution that way then I think you need more professional advice - certainly advice I would not be confident enough in giving. I am sure citizens advice would be as good as any a place to start unless you know a good solicitor.
Your arguments seem reasonable generally to me though.

Nobby.
My resolution was also on the understanding that I drop legal action.
But if they do not put it in writing soon ...........0 -
. my bt exchange bloke told me that my bb was capped at a 2mb download speed that he hadnt seen before, is this normal?
I also have another thing that is bugging me, I signed up in feb 07 (I think) and was promised free bb for life as long as I remained on the same contract ...each time I have renewed I have asked the guys at orange....I was told I needed to remain on the same contract, inc tarrif to keep my bb free for life....£35 contract... and each time was told yes, it wasn't until I got a call in Feb this year re upgrading, when I told the guy I did not want to change my contract as i believed this would mean me loosing my free bb for life and as all new phones require internet connection I didn't want one...that he corrected me and said ...no you just need to remain a customer on orange with a pay monthly contract to keep the free bb for life.....just read threads today that said I could have reduced my tariff as early as 2008? Does this mean I have been lied to for 4 years now??
During one of my many phone calls to Orange, I was told that my broadband speed was capped at 2mb and, even if I moved my line rental to them, it would remain at 2mb because it was free. As it happens, as I live in a rural area, the line can only handle 6mb anyway. Still - 3 times faster.
During another phone call, when I was going down the mis-selling route and saying that I had only maintain a £30 contract because of the free broadband when cheaper alternatives were available, I was told that people like me were now paying for those that had been "allowed" to take out lower tariffs and still have the free broadband. She said that should never have happened and that the free broadband should only have been with £30+ contracts!!
As my mobile contract is up, there is little I can do to keep the free broadband whilst keeping my line rental with BT, but I am still thinking about the mis-selling route.
Sadly, as I have never had a single problem with my Orange broadband connection, I am leaving Orange. On the plus side - I'm moving both my line rental and bb to sky. £9.95 a month line rental (upfront payment), £5 a month for all calls and free unlimited bb for 12 months, on a 12 month contract.
As I live 'off net', the call package charges made orange a non starter. Strangely when looking at BT, Sky, Plusnet, TalkTalk..... we were 'in their network area'.
Where I live we only get an Orange mobile signal. However, a friend has given us a Virgin phone so we can check the signal before moving to Virgin.
So, I may soon be free from Orange altogether.0 -
Eva49 - This is now Orange's broadband team resolution.
If you specifically complain about mis-sold mobile phone, Broadband team should be able to now continue to provide free broadband.
You should therefore not need to ring Ofcom or the Executive Office for this resolution. You may need to speak to a Broadband team supervisor!
Hopefully MrRightSA can clarify this and your other points re confirmation emails.
Be great if Orange could start being consistent with customers and I know the Executive Office are not happy!
Yes that is what I am trying to establish with MrRightSA
I await his reply
Hopefully it will then put a stop to all this nonsense and people know exactly who to call
Given that it was the BB division who pulled the stunt in the 1st place only right and proper they sort it out and give the Executive Office a break - even though I suspect complaints will need to be logged prior to calling this team - again MrRightSA may wish to clarify that point also?0 -

Ofcom isn't necessary. Simply being miss sold is enough.
I can't send out emails. That's all I know about that I'm afraid0 -

I went with virgin as o2 signal not good where I am.
Virgin use Orange/T-Mobile masts so you should be ok and quids in
I took a 30day rolling contract 1200mins + Unlim texts + 1GB data £12.00 per month0 -
Well I still have not received my e-mail, with my offer, I don't think they like putting stuff in black & white unless it it T&Cs.
Oh well lets go down the class action route.
This is getting like the film.
Billy Connoly The man who sued God.
we at least could meet up & have a meal somewhere & all talk loudly about the injustice.
Hope I spelt the Big Yins name correct0 -
Following my chat with MrRightSA it would appear that by calling
Tel: 08002944747
You should be able to get continuation of free BB for the remainder of your mobile contract - but only on the mis-sold aspect - however it would appear email confirmation will not be forthcoming - in which case
Suggest for completeness
1) Take the full name of the person agreeing this
2) Ask to speak to a supervisor and insist on email confirmation
3) Go back to Executive Office and tell them the name of the person authorizing and insist it is put in either email or letter
Fingers crossed!
Personally I would still register your complaint via Ofcom and Executive Office your case number is your proof for future reference0
