Welcome back Diamonds.... where have you been hiding? ;-)
When going through my broadband options the line i was using records the calls unfortunately and i had a discussion on how 0800 numbers were being charged a connection fee of 12.5p per call to which i was told this was not the case and they are 100% without charge. I have listened to it back and its quite audio-able as you would expect from a line which is recorded.
So if i am charged... i wont be.[/QUOTE
If it helps i have never ever had 0800 or 0808 itemised
On my 2nd line bill.0 -
Why say nothing is going to change - false hope after the rumours, then e-mail me to tell me I have 30 days...to say yeah or nay in order to keep my broad band at £5.00 per month1SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... You will be leaving the UK aswell as Europe0

Strange one that, I called Microsoft on a FREEPHONE USA number 1800 & got charged - they tried tell me mobile & landline calls to USA were free but not a USA TOLL FREE number lol
The !!!!! that ran Orange Broadband before BT were just english script readers like India, eventually they refunded the call charges.SO... now England its the Scots turn to say dont leave the UK, stay in Europe with us in the UK, dont let the tories fool you like they did us with empty lies... .....
Me either ... but this isn't second line terms and conditions or pricing structure......... is what Orange would say to me i'm sure...
Still pretty confused by all these offers going about... are people being quoted £18.50 for LR, Broadband and eve and weekend calls? Seems quite hefty to me considering BT do £10.85 LR and Anytime calls for as little as £2.90 or regular price of £4.99.... I think people need to push for what they current could sign up for as well as what they may be lossing. After all if you stayed on BT you could get anytime calls for that price, so get them to match it.0 -
I've kept the Orange ad from 2007 & T+Cs. Spoken to a lawyer and Orange and a special advisor. Now I'm hearing that Orange have honored their contract with 1 person who has kept Free Broadband for Life. Orange have told me I am a "special case" and I am awaiting a reply in due course.
I'm NOT a special case and I can tell everyone to WAIT until November when Orange are due to make a statement on this issue.0 -
Even Ofcom has the 2005-7 Orange free Broadband Offer on the OFCOM site:-

Orange are offering upto £100 to drop the insistence of sticking to the Free Broadband for Life. The £100 is to cover termination fees from your existing landline provider. NUTS TO THAT. I've got a contract & sticking to it.0

I think those who have already signed up would be in a situation to force a reversal based on false information provided.0

Has anyone who does not have a mobile contract with Orange been offered a deal without being charged the extra £5 a month for not being an Orange customer?0
