Orange 'Free' Broadband

Well I sent a pre-court action letter and having heard nothing I called the exec office who have told me orange are not prepared to release me from my mobile contract and they told me about the special team set up to resolve this. Arghhh if I hear about that special team one more time ill scream. Told them ive already spoken to them and they cannot help with my mobile miss selling and are only there to get me to take their landline.
They then gave me the address for sending a summons to and thats it as far as theyre concerned. No deal, no help.
As far as I can tell, the exec office has staff and managers, I may be wrong, call again and ask to speak with a manager.
As fitz says, it pays to be proactive.
I cannot see they would welcome legal action for such a short time on your contract?0 -

Plus the satisfaction of not bending to Orange's will.
Thoughts?
Cant beat that!
But again Topcashback
PLUSNET = better reviews - not unlimited - 60GB
£9.49 line saver + eve & weekend calls

Don't forget when comparing these companies you are actually doing that.
Make sure your comparing 12 month contracts to 12 month contracts or the equivalent price if one is over 18 months.
And also above all don't cut your nose of despite your face..... Orange have being doing some dirty tactics here in my opinion but still this doesn't mean i find BT in the remote bit helpful or enjoyable to deal with and wasn't Talk Talk voted worst broadband provider?0 -

So long as you are in a low cost area of course. Otherwise after the first three months it is £9 a month for broadband and after a year of course the broadband price doubles, but you can leave your contract then.
However I did sign my parents up for them yesterday actually, together with the £4 for anytime calls. Plus.net say they do not throttle and support 18185 cheap calls so it should be a good deal, fingers crossed,
for an expensive exchange.
If I was on a cheap telephone exchange with more options though I would have probably paid the extra and gone with be broadband with a year half price £8.50 no restrictions at all on downloads. But it depends what you want.0 -
Great retention deal, thanks for sharing. Be good to see EE 4G mobile and fibre broadband prices. Are they releasing both on 30 October ?
I want to upgrade to fibre when my line ready. Hurry up BT Openreach engineers! I guess they will also install the internal fibre faceplates (or we get the self install plug in ones) on behalf of providers as part of the BT wholesale fibre contract.

TBH I thought if I didn't take that offer it might be withdrawn.
Since I only have to pay out an extra £5, I will now get 500 mins to any network for mobiles a month, + 0300, 0845, 08700 -

1st bill received today- you guessed it FREE BROADBAND included in the NEW SERVICE PLAN even though my broadband letter states it ends mid October.
To add insult to injury I have a £2.50 entry detailed
Loyalty reward 24 months : 23 Sep - 04 Oct at £2.50 which they are debiting to the account???
Next step is call back to the Executive Office to ask if anybody has the slightest clue what is going on within this organisation as clearly their front line staff and customers don't !!
Executive office Orange = Chocolate as in tea pots0 -

Did Orange confirm what the charge to 0800 numbers are, it was stated earlier in this thread that there is a 12p set up charge.
Whereas with the 2nd line you can call 100 countries, with this offer it is only 30 countries, basically EU + USA, Canada , Oz, NZ.0 -
