I am not sure you understand the purpose of this forum Malchish. This is the consumer rights part of the forum, the clue really is on the name you click to get here.

I haven't scared anyone, they ask a question on consumer rights, we provide information on what rights they have. I fail to understand why that scares people, if it scares you perhaps you are the one that should find somewhere else to post.

I've been posting actively on this CR forum for a good few years now and have contributed to the FAQs - how about you? You've been here 5 minutes and been caught out a number of times by the regulars for posting rubbish advice.

Was that a personal dig at where I shop? You're right, I don't shop at Harrods because I am not a vain money waster.

Chain reactions always go above what they have to, they're a brilliant company. Plus they always send me free energy drink stuff :T

OP, you can't expect them to refund you just because you couldn't be bothered to do the smallest amount of research. If you had, you would have found out that the 2013 models can be ordered from this week, meaning the 2012 models will be reduced. Tiny bit of googling would have told you that.

    That's very true.

By the way, I am off to google Chain reactions to shop from them!;)

The OP never claimed legal right. Nobody here thought there was a legal right.

Funny that, since they used the following words in their OP:

do i have a right to complain and claim this saving back from the shop?

Sounds very much like they want to know what rights they had to claim the money back.

Perhaps you should re-read the thread.

Has anyone considered that the Supplier of the bike, NOT the shop reduced their prices?

Shop still put there normal margain on and bike was cheaper. Suppilers do deals with retailors all the time.

Most of the half price offers or BOGOF in supermarkets are a deal done by the supermarket and the suppiler. The supermarket will only buy from the suppilers if the suppiler will do 2 offers a year.

We quite often by 13 mattresses for the price of 12 etc........ or 7 for price of 6.

Nonsense again. People got £10000+ because of my advice already.

As you've saved people so much money with your advice, I'm sure that you wouldn't object to showing something to prove this figure of over £10000 is a true representation of the savings that MSE members have saved due to taking notice of what you've written.

I did and there is no mention of more than £10k being saved. So give us the link or are you being economical with the truth yet again?
