fingers crossed it's implantation bleeding! not that i'm SSing for you...

Not that I'm either :o. But the chances of implantation bleeding are rather low compared to actually getting my period like this afternoon. But one can hope

It's nice to know I'm not alone in how I feel, sometimes it takes one person to creep out from under the rock and say something for others to admit to feeling the same. :o It's such an emotive topic, some days just the sight of the pregnancy threads at the top of the main board is enough to send me spiralling into a 'why not me?' despondency. :o

Anyhoo... need to pluck some PMA from somewhere! AF has gone after a bit of a strange one so OH can get some loving tonight (he's always really randy when he can't have it, why is that?! When I'm OVing he's not interested. :p). We discussed our plan of action last month after only managing to BD once at the right time so I've laid down the law that as soon as my CBFM starts giving highs we're to BD every other day and on every peak day. Really hoping this will work and OH will actually be up for it (unlikely)! :) It is so frustrating that seemingly the only way one can get PG is by doing it loads, it just feels like such a chore, especially when we're just not that active (and happy about it) generally! :o

I'll guess 6 BFPs for February. Not including me as the last few months I've been convinced that I'll be one of them so I'm hoping by NOT thinking I'll be one, I will be! Err... yeah, that totally makes sense! :p
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

This is why 99% of the time I just click my bookmarked 'subscribed threads' link. I don't even have to see the pregnancy threads that way! :)

Thank you to those who suggested something for me to do last night about the tummy pain. I ended up sitting back on the sofa with my feet propped on the coffee table with my knees up (laptop on my legs) while I watched DH play on the Wii. I'm beginning to think it may have just been gas pains. :o We had pork and veg stir fry for dinner with loads of cabbage....

Didn't have the temp spike like I thought I would, so probably haven't ov'ed yet. In fact my temp this morning was lower than it has been all cycle!

Nothing here really to report other than the fact that I've been able to get out and work a bit in our tiny garden and that the bunnies are still being little stinkers (one keeps humping the other - both girls - and the other keeps trying to eat the carpet!).

    Giant hugs to everyone!

My appointment went well this morning. Annoyingly my doctor told me that she was leaving but she’s recommended another doctor for me to see going forward.

She was very pleased and complimentary about the weight that I’ve lost so far. She’s said about doing the basic fertility tests again (ultrasound and blood test) as the ones I had before were done more than a year ago. I’m pretty certain that they’ll come back the same as last time (PCOS and no ovulation) but I’m told that I’ll be referred to the fertility clinic once these tests have been done. The doctor said that my weight shouldn’t be a barrier to me having clomid. I’m still not sure about this (as it conflicts what I’ve always been told) but it all sounds great and I don’t know until I’m referred so I just have to go with it.

I’ve got my ultrasound tomorrow morning and I have to wait for my next period before I can have the blood tests (day 3 and 21). As my cycles are really irregular she said to just have a blood test if I don’t get a period within a month. So at the very latest I should have all my results in 6 weeks and should hopefully then be referred. And hopefully by then I’ll have lost some more weight.

So I’m feeling very positive today :D
  • Morning all. Hope everyone is well congrats benice. Good luck to everyone testing in the next few days. Ive just been on fb for thr first time in days and right at the top of my feed was 3 ppl anouncing pregnancy. I know its only our first month of ttc but ive wanted another LO since LO was 12 months old and he turned 4 the 12th of this month.... I know my time will come again but its still hard seeing ppl have 2/3 and their oldest younger than my LO. ... In the time ive had 1 everyone else has had 2/3. .... And in the past 4 months 2 members of DP's family were planning to have a second while they were still pregnant and started Ttc as soon as baby was born. ... This week is not my week. .... X

First of all the first 6 months after birth I wasn't even thinking of or whishing to BD :rotfl:
Secondly I coudn't imagine having 3 under the age of 4. One two year old is enough :p, although he's getting to the age now where I could manage and obviously want a second one. How do you change nappies or feed them, never mind get anything else done, it'd be like having triplets :p

See the positive/practical in having a bigger gap. Your LO can experience his younger sibling growing up and help you out.

I was wondering if I could join this thread as I had my mirena coil removed 4 days ago after 5.5 years, and we are going to start trying for baby no2. Our 1st child together is at primary school and now is the right time for us. My head is already swimming with opk and bd LH surge etc etc. I don't have a clue about half of the jargon on some of the forums so thought I'd settle here. Is anyone else trying after having their coil removed? I'm worrying as mines was in so long that my fertility won't ever return :(

Code - I think Becca is a teacher so probably unable to leave early but the shoes is an excellent idea!!

good luck lets hope the egg is popping out now!

Team low - I agree. I honestly feel really really happy when someone on the 12+ thread gets pregnant because its really uplifting. Or when someone on here who has struggled does because again its really nice to hear. I think what I dont like reading is someone who pops in once and then disappears and only pops back to post their bfp. Ive said this on here before - its because its like someone in the street suddenly coming up to you and saying theyre pregnant - err not being funny but why would I care? I just want to know about the people who post on here and you get to 'know'/hear their story.

I dont mean people need to post every day like some of us do, but I think more than twice in total!

Mrsj28 - did you see one of the houses in 'ramsey st' is up for sale - first one since 1999! Its Toadies house. Why cant I win the lottery so I could buy it!!!

    Grrrrrrr!!!!

I took soy last three cycles just hoping it might do something. It didn't have any effect and ov still happened around cd15. This cycle, no soy. I'm on cd 14 and absolutely not a whisper of a line on opk where I usually get gradually darkening lines from cd 11ish.

I'm annoyed as dh is off thus week which is perfect timing for a cd15 ov. Next week he's going on nights/ late shifts so bd opportunities are slim to none.

Have I messed things up with soy? I took it for three cycles, cd 2 to 6 about 100 mg a day.
