  • 2 more BFP's!! Double figures for January! Congrats to all!

Who would have believed it, Santa must have dropped some extra luck down the chimney!

My BFP prediction for February is 3, and then a bit higher for March methinks. Hmm.

Can you also put me on the Valentines testing list? Thank you! AF due on the 12th and I am being strong and not POAS before the end of that week!

Hugs to everyone having a rough time, hope things pick up soon xx

Congrats to all the ladies with BFPs this month!

I hope that February is also a bumper month, especially for those who have been on the list a little longer ;)

Now in the stage of my cycle where Im feeling optimistic that I might ovulate at a relatively normal time..

Lets hope i still feel like this in a couple of weeks. Cant bear to have some wonky cycle this month.

Becca, please dont blame yourself. Its not like you asked for this! Plus, youve done all the right stuff and youre now on the path to getting treatment and a plan for your baby :)

Birdie for what it's worth, I agree with you.

I also think really once you have had a BFP you should vacate this thread. I know I pop up from time to time, but it's only if I feel I can offer some useful info.

Well said MV, I agree with you. I understand this is a public forum
and people can post whereever they want, but continually chatting on the <12 week thread and on here is a bit irritating if i'm honest.

  • Grats to the BFP's Thanks to Abis it gives me me hope.
*hugs* to all those feeling it.
MV agree with you and with you lilymay. Think it leads to a bit of upset for the people feeling left behind (have enough in RL).
Hard enough in RL cousin with a huge bump (for the 2nd time) saying it will happen for you. Can't bring myself to say why not atm and how I feel.
Need a different kind of PMA :)
    Anyway...
Think have oving atm but will update.
Well have got a gyne appointment through for march for me and partner.
Not sure what they will do as so far I have come back fine, but it's my OH SA that came back deadfully low? By that time will be posting on here and +12 months thread.
At least it's moving but so slow.
    7 for feb please.
Go on put me on the testing for valentines day
    Have a good day
  • Morning Ladies,

Couldn't just read and run without offering hugs to all the ladies that need them.

Becca - Please don't beat yourself up about your long cycles. You have done the right thing by seeking help from a doc and there is a lot that can be done these days.

Amy - I can't imagine being around babies all day while ttc. It must be heartbreaking and make you broody as hell.

I would like to guess 5 for the Feb predictions.

    Chat Later.

Well absolutely nothing yet and the spotting is gone too. So I guess instead of being CD2 I am still CD21 or 8DPO. So there's hope for a longer cycle this time.

I would like to take a guess too. being brave and going for 7 big fat february poitives

I agree with mv and lily. Some of us on here have been trying for ages without success and that makes it all a bit raw. I am happy for those of you that have your BFP, but that is also tinged with sadness about the fact that yet another cycle has passed without any luck for me. While I understand that some are nervous about mc, that's the purpose of the < 12 weeks thread and Its hard enough to keep up the PMA without people hanging around after. Which is not to say I mind you popping in from time to time and I will stalk you on the other threads to see how you're getting on. I feel horrible saying this.

Becca, huge hugs. I've had days like that and it's horrible. Can you duck out of work early and do something nice to cheer yourself up? If not, go and buy some shoes after work. Seriously, there is nothing wrong with seeking help and seeing a specialist might be the difference between struggling on in here (in ostrich land with me and DH ) and getting your cycle back to normal. Doesn't mean you can't have a baby naturally. Just means maybe you need some help to set the process in motion. Like mouse trap with the boot that kicks off the ball.

AFM, more ewcm so obv not ovlulated yet. Managed a wee BD last night so yay. Let's hope my shy egg jumps soon, meets a healthy sperm and does everything necessary to become a person.

I try my best to be supportive and positive but honestly it gives me absolutely no hope that other people get pregnant easily.

Someone struggling but eventually getting their forever baby? that gives me hope, lets me know that it's possible even if things aren't easy. There's sometimes posts like that on the 'other' thread and i always appreciate ite it. i think there was one recently from someone saying that they had come to the end of their ttc journey and eicded to adopt and were very happy which again, i thought was lovely as it was sensitively put but also giving hope that one day you too could havea family.

A normal person with normal fertility getting pregnant? that's not exactly a revelation or heartwarming story.

This isn't aimed at anyone, i can understand posting to say 'even if you don't get your period after the pill doesn't mean you can't get pregnant'

I like it when our graduates post to give helpful advice or support- i think fluffnutter, MV and MrsJ28 do it well as it's sparing and just a quick congrats or sharing a bit of knowledge when questions are asked x
