  • Sorry skintchick but the bit about being too busy POAS to BD made me giggle, got visions of your OH lying naked in a rose-petal covered bed while you hide in the bathroom guzzling water and weeing continuously

I used to love Neighbours claire but to my shame it got bumped out of the schedule when I developed a penchant for the lowest of the low ... Hollyoaks :o

Fannyanna i'm glad your appointment went well, whether they want a certain BMI for clomid varies from pct to pct really, i know BigZ's want you at 35 but mine has mentioned nothing to me about it- just come back in six months if not pregnant. 5 weeks to go...

We always wanted 3 children but to be honest i'm making my peace with thinking i'll be the luckiest lady in the world to have one :o my main hope is that either i don't have to go all the way to ivf (if it was then it would definitely be just one) orr i'm one of those women that have magically better cycles after their first pregnancy.
except i've already had one pregnancy and that just made everything much worse

Large hugs for claire and skint

Skint i think i should be due on 10th Feb so can i go on the testing list? might as well pretend that i have hope this cycle, you never know i might be one of those ladies you hear about who get pregnant just before their fertility treatment lol

big hugs OM, it's not nice feeling left behind

i think i'd start trying soon after my first was born, if i'm lucky enough, as if it's going to take a while/need treatment again then i want to get a headstart and keep the age gap small.
then again, My mum had 3 in 3 years, pretty sure i was an accident, and she said she thought it would be easier to have twins than two very close together - there's fifteen months between me and middle sister - and she wasn't able to do as much with me as the others had to go to playgroup etc. in fact she always says that in the morning i was given one boob then i had to wait until she'd done the nursery run to get the other :rotfl:

Yeah, usually we BD from about CD10 every other day, and then three days in a row from EWCM, but I've been so busy POAS that I forgot to BD! :rotfl: Although OH was away Tuesday night anyway.

I dont feel strong, I just don;t have any choice but to keep going. But if I lose another one I'm going to stop. Five babies dead is more than enough, six would be more than I could cope with.

But I'm hopeful now that the heparin will do the trick. I just need to get PG!

Ha yes dont poas so much you dont bd lol!

I remember you said about the not having any choice thing on the mc thread and its so true. My friend said to me the other day I just dont know how you are coping so well with this and managing to even talk about it without crying. I said well I still cry at other times but Im now getting on with ttc because of that reason - there is no other choice. There is no other way of getting the end result I want.

I feel very positive for you - I know thats easy to say but hopefully now you know what to do when you get pregnant, and you seem to at least get pregnant fairly quickly, Im hoping it all works out for you this time. I just wish you hadnt had to go through all of this to find that out.

no need to apologise OM, we know what you mean, ttc is always hard whether you have one child or fifty.
i have a tendency to be superflous with my 'if i'm lucky's and 'if it happen's cos i'm paranoid about jinxing myself, i worry that if i'm arrogant and think everything will be ok it won't be x x

I've cried all the way to work this morning & half an hour in the toilets. It just feels so unfair & I feel like it's my fault, not DHs. I need to talk to him about this but I just keep crying. I know this is a stupid post but I needed to get it out somewhere x

super big hugs becca, I'm glad you have somewhere like this to post

skintchick I think you are really strong, I have my fingers crossed for you x

I think delurking may have worked for me but I think the support was the best.

I really hope that you all get your BFPs soon, I mean that from the bottom of my heart. I am going to vamoose off to the 12 week thread and go back to lurk mode on here. Thank you so much x

Very well said Skint! We don't want to scare people off from posting, but the point is, POST! Get to know us! If you don't, don't be surprised if no-one is happy when you jump in with a PG announcement :o

When you get your BFP Skinty I'll have everything crossed for you for the entire 9 months! You so deserve a happy ending :)

I would love to have 2 kids, I'm still hoping it's possible. I think we'll start trying again shortly after the first was born just in case it does take a while. At the end of the day, I'd rather have 2 under 2 than none at all! ;)

Optimistic, don't worry about your LO being 4 years older than your second. My brother is 4 years older than me (funnily, a LOT of the kids I went to school with had the same age-gap too so there must be something in it) and it was great. He was old enough to not demand too much attention from my parents when I was first born, he could help out a bit, he was in school so Mum only had me at home to look after during the day, as we got older he looked after me. We've still got a great relationship. :) If I wasn't worried about missing the boat I wouldn't mind waiting for that same age-gap but I don't want to risk it. :)
Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!
