  • LOL I like operation BD. We try that but get scuppered by illness.

good luck with being healthier an9i77

I lost 2 and a half stone last year. However feeling rubbish about not being pregnant yet, coupled with Christmas, has put on half a stone for me. I'm still not overweight but find it difficult to diet when I feel this rubbish.

sorry to hear about your dad skaps

    Hey Birdie

Sorry that you got so rudely queue jumped by your friend. That must be really frustrating :( It's so weird even to start telling people at that early stage. (((((((HUGE hugs))))))))

AF still not here, but my whole tummy is a cramp right now, so surely it can't be far away? I don't have any PG symptoms unfortunately. I'd have to trek out in the snow to POAS again (after last week's escapades :o) and atm I'm in my PJs in bed! Well, there have to be some upsides to this perpetual student lark :rotfl:

    I'm 31 in April arrrrrrgh!!!!

    Hugs to all x

So strange, right?! She did say 'Keep it to yourselves, I'll be telling everyone else at 12 weeks' so I can only assume that as we don't see her often and we don't see any of her other friends she wanted to show off to *someone* without risking it getting out to the world in general! Just wished she'd picked someone else! ;)

Hope AF decides not to visit! If you'd had some control last week rather than being naughty and POAS early you'd be able to test now! Lesson learnt?! :p

Really sorry about your Dad Skaps, hope you get your happy news soon. :)

Operation BD every other day has been somewhat unsuccessful for me this month started off well but have not managed to bd since tuesday.

However, im almost positive I havnt ovulated yet, no ewcm, so may still be in with a chance if we manage to bd for the rest of the month (as long as I do actually ov!).

I like the sound of the transformer babies app, if only to amuse me when I get 29 updates a day about a persons kid - nobody cares if your child has just shat, spit out a banana, danced in front of the tv, had a nap, eaten toast for the first time etc etc etc.

I just had to unfriend a friend because she insists on putting posts about conversations she's had with her little one. The latest consisted of the following gibberish

Child:Mummy what's the opposite of eyes?
Mother: I don't think there is an opposite
Child: Mummy what's the opposite of hedgehogs?

She thought this was significant enough to share it with the world on FB, and what's more she got lots of comments back from other people about hedgehogs and eyes and how they could have opposites.

i was so nauseated I had to unfriend her! (she's not really a friend anyway tbh).

Skaps that's awful I'm so sorry to hear that.

Birdie - that's so weird you were saying about that the other day then it happened. In some ways I'd rather find out like that though than being shown a scan photo or something!

Next time (fingers crossed) I think ill tell people at about 6 weeks if I get sick again, as when I had a miscarriage I ended up telling people who didn't even know I was pregnant anyway as its not something you can hide-and I'd been making weird excuses to people for 6 weeks as to why I was barely leaving the house and then I would have had to come up with even more for the mc! So next time ill just say I'm pregnant & I'm sick -yay!! :)

Anyway hope fate works and now you will get pregnant!

We are all entitled to our opinions (so please don't shoot me down on this) so I wanted to share another perspective on fb postings.

It is difficult to see other people's perfect family/ cute kids/ pg moans on Facebook but in reality the majority of our fb friends are not doing anything particularly nasty aimed at us.

Just in the same way that when they might read something I might post, I am not going out of my way to make them 'envious' of something I might have/ be doing.

There's plenty of my friends who are unable to enjoy the nights out/ holidays/ breaks/ cars etc that I can (& often get mentioned by me on fb). I don't think that I shouldn't post it because others can't do these things.

    Just my view!
  • For those who've just come off the pill, I wanted to share my story... I came off the pill in May 2010, had withdrawal bleed then nothing until July 2010 when I had a period, then nothing until February 2011. I was about to undergo a blood test to check hormone levels etc when I found out I was 5 weeks pregnant (although at the time I obviously didn't know how far gone I was!!) with my little girl. It can take a while for hormones to settle etc but it just goes to show ... if in doubt ... BD!!!

Hope the bad weather isn't too bad where you guys are. Stay safe x

aww man, thought I'd ovulated but no dice :( I'll give it to cd50 then I'll take the last pack of noristhisterone I have. don't want to bring forward gynae app although I could cos a I want to lose weight before it and b I'm scared they're Gina say ok more metformin and another six months. I need the Clomid! lol

bugs me cos I've been having ewcm for two weeks now so something must be happening. and it means in the six months I was given to get pregnant I've ovulate d once, maybe twice if I do next cycle.

it's so not fricking fair. I just want a chance, that's all I ask

    Hi ladies,
I'm still getting used to all the abbreviations & trying to remember everyone's names?!
Sending hugs to those that are feeling low today ((()))

After a brilliant Hen Do weekend I am now feeling a tad rubbish with a headache & some nausea :(

Also just had the announcement that my brother's gf has had her baby girl- I'm very happy for them but still sad that we don't have our baby and have had no luck getting pg since the mmc :'( trying to get some PMA though- I was able to drink over the weeknd & really let my hair down, can spoil my niece and hopefully get my relationship with my brother back on track!?

Hope you all have a good day & the snow doesn't cause you too much disruptipon xx
