Mrs tm there's only the digestives and sugar which arent good...could you experiment with oatcakes and sweetener? the peanut butter will lower the gi quite considerably anyway so I'd still keep it on your treat list x
Hmmm, I think you've just inspired my food experiment for at least part of next month! We are out of grocery money until february, that's why I'll have to wait.0 -
He said that excess weight is the second biggest factor affecting fertility (after maternal age) and the biggest thing you can do to help yourself if you're experiencing trouble getting pregnant and are overweight is lose weight. He has many experiences of women who thought they were infertile who got pregnant naturally once they got down to a normal weight.
I'm convinced that my extra 2 stones of poundage is what's affecting my ovulation. I was struggling with my diet but this has given me renewed motivation - I have simply got to get this weight off!
Had a good day yesterday, diet wise, but going away with work for two days today (= restaurant meals, drinks etc) so need to keep it up!
Thanks for this- you've re-inspired me to start my diet again. Completely fell off the wagon this last week after operation last week. I've ate so much rubbish- not gained anything per se but haven't lost anything! (BTW 36 isn't old- nor is 30- I just really wanted to be a mum by 30...)
Good luck to T2D- hope everything goes perfectly with your ICSI.
AFM I have my secondary infertility appt tomorrow. Poor DH thought his SA was today and has been like a bear with a sore head over the past 4 days of abstaining *ahem*. Got to hospital fit to burst and turns out he'd been referred straight to the infertility clinic by mistake. Had to rebook SA for three weeks time. Gave me a right giggle though- the look on his little disbelieving face. :rotfl: On the bright side because he got referred to the wrong clinic he's now getting a 'full, deluxe MOT' instead of the basic SA. He can have some of the embarrassment that all of us females ttc have to put up with.
Pffft- on the news chatting about the new 'record birth rate'- I'll have some of that please!0 -
Just had a look at my DUO chart- looks like they're predicting ov in about 10 days for me as they've put my green 'fertile' period as starting next Monday... Let's see if they get this month right or if it moves again!...0

hopelass do you have a reason to doubt your partner's sperm? if not then you can have it off as much as you want with no worries

CD1 here. No warning at all, it sprung it's self on me. I don't like sneaky attack AF's, they get your hopes up.Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.0

Hi is there any chance someone could explain what all the abbreviations you all post mean? I lurk on here a lot but sometimes find it hard to work out what you are talking about! Thanks0
