How does it affect you then - do you mean that you could have irregular periods but no cysts but still have pcos? How are they 'poly cystic' ? Or it affects you because the irregularity causes less frequent ovulation?

I'm confused because when I asked about my irregular cycles after my miscarriage the dr said I didn't have pcos because the ultrasound I had showed no cysts. But we know some of the stuff drs come out with. So if you can have it without cysts maybe I do have it as I have no idea why I have irregular periods.

Oh well in either case I still got pregnant so will just keep using my opks!

yeah, as it was explained to me is that the ovarian cysts are just one of the of the symptoms not the cause so it's not necessary to have them. it's all very much a grey area. you can have it a little or a lot.

as it's a syndrome and has no cure they can only treat the symptoms that you want treated and the best they could do for your fertility is make you ovulate, so if you're already doing that fine I personally wouldn't be too concerned about having it

Think I'm due af about now, no signs yet but I'm trying not to think about it. I have an interview on Thurs and would feel really bad if i accepted a job knowing I'd be going on mat leave within about 7 or 8 months....
Probably worrying unnecessarily and af will arrive with a vengeance in next day or two x
