Is it fertilityfriend by any chance? If so if she doesn't mind you could post a link to her chart & we could take a look & try to help?
Think best thing is just to wait she said she's not feeling right and doesn't feel like she is going af2010 Super League Grand Final Winners :beer:0 -
Thank you ladies it is nice to be here.
Sorry for those feeling sad about the due dates of their angel babies, it is such a miserable time of year to be going through that:o Big ((hug))
Skintchick I don't blame you I think I would have kept some back in the same position, like you say you know it's the right dose and will be useful if your BFP ends up coming on a weekend or bank hol. The % increase is amazing too!
Trying to pick up a few tips on temps etc to try in a couple of months if we're still trying. As I said I don't really know if/when I'm ov'ing due to cycles etc.
I also have some Conceive Plus which was on offer (end of line type thing) in our local boots - £2 for 8 applicators which seemed pretty good. Maybe I'm mad but we haven't used it yet - don't want to go all out straight away. I imagine on CD1 it'd just help knowing there is something extra we could try
ETA Lemonmelon 9 vials is an awful lot, good old Mr L he doesn't sound like a wuss at all!0 -
Becca - so sorry to hear about your diagnosis. Not much I can do/say to make things better, but lots of hugs for you. The dr put me on the pill to kick start things after my diagnosis, and I lost about 2 stone for my wedding following a low carb diet. Those things together have given me a couple of regular cycles, so it might be worth looking at things you could do before the referral. Massive hugs.
TCD - I was just saying the exact same thing to my friend the other day. They just lump all these symptoms into a 'syndrome', although there are some theories that there's at least 2 different types. Much more research needs to be done on PCOS, as it can be so devastating.
B2B Massive congrats. I hope you have a totally boring 9 months!
AFM - I'll be testing on 25th Jan if no AF and O-ing on 14th Feb, if it's a BFN.
Been a bit moody recently as 2 separate people have asked if I'm preggo. One even touched my belly and said 'Awww, you're having a baby?'. NO!!!! IT'S A FOOD BABY YOU MUPPET!!!
I knew I'd put a few pounds on, but C***st, gimme a break.
Hugs and wine to everyone on CD1/ bad news etc. We all need something to celebrate!!Fritterati Challenge for 2013:

No massive post from me today other than list updating as I've had my scan results. PCOS and quite badly on my right side, not sure about left. My Dr is hoping to refer me to the fertility specialist but not sure if she can because the criteria is TTC for 2 years.
I have a friend who has PCOS, Multiple Sclerosis, Factor V Leiden, and Antiphospholipid Syndrome and she has a lovely little boy. It is possible.
Lemonmelon - sounds like a positive visit to the rmc. I've just looked at my chart....AF should be due on the 12th... So I'd love to join operation valentines! 1st month of using the clear blue fertility monitor... Only cd10 today... But I love how easy it is to use and there is no guess work needed. Also temping this month.. So far my temps have ranged from 35.92 to 36.89.... So I'm not sure how accurate this will be for me. Sorry if this is a stupid question... Does everyone do oral temperatures?
Congratulations bride2be... Wishing u a healthy 9 months.
A girl at work announced her pregnancy today.... Had an awful minute of jealousy and a tear in my eye.... Obviously I am pleased for her.... But u can't help wishing it was you.

TL - so are you being seen by a gynae? What treatment have you had, if you don't mind me asking? Has this involved your dh?
I was diagnosed long before we started trying due to ridiculously long cycles. got put on metformin 2x500mg which gave me a regular cycle for the first time in my life by gynae so discharged. surprise bfp but miscarried last year, cycles went haywire again even though I was taking the metformin still.
so this time when I was referred I mentioned that we're trying and they've given me an increased dose of metformin to bring cycle back, which it did for a while and also a HyCoSy and the usual blood tests. when I went in September the tests showed I'd ovulated so we've been given six months to try and get pregnant then I'll get Clomid if not.
they gave DH a referral for a sperm analysis for reassurance, as no one's too worried about him as we have conceived once.
I don't know what will happen if we need more intervention but I'm very happy with what we've had from the gynae and from other threads it doesn't seem like a fs would have done more/moved much more quickly.
I asked for the referral last March so had only eight months after the miscarriage. I told the gp I wanted to be referred due to the irregular periods. I said that we was trying so he wouldn't try to fob me off with the pill but how long wasn't discussed. it helped that it was a young male doctor who I think was just glad I wasn't going into detail lol xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

lemon that's good news that it was positive appointment, at least you and DH have nice homework
Becca I asked for a referral to a gynae and not and fs to treat the pcos and they're treating my infertility so maybe try that? sorry for your diagnosis but it's definitely treatable. 're: low gi diet, I have a Collins gem low gi book on my kindle and a paper copy and it's great for introducing the concept and getting used to what's ok and what's not. though it's colour coded so not good on black and white kindles lol
ani I was told that pcos isn't completely back and white- you can have it a little or a lot and there's no real clear answer as to whether pcos causes insulin resistance or insulin resistance causes pcos. there's basically five symptoms and if you have three you have it: ovarian cysts, struggle to lose weight/put it on easily (so not just simply overweight), irregular periods, acne particularly around the jawline, hirsuitism.
when I was diagnosed I had everything but cysts and you can have polycystic ovaries but not the syndrome x
Do you mean you have it but you don't have cysts?
How does it affect you then - do you mean that you could have irregular periods but no cysts but still have pcos? How are they 'poly cystic' ? Or it affects you because the irregularity causes less frequent ovulation?
I'm confused because when I asked about my irregular cycles after my miscarriage the dr said I didn't have pcos because the ultrasound I had showed no cysts. But we know some of the stuff drs come out with. So if you can have it without cysts maybe I do have it as I have no idea why I have irregular periods. Although I only get spots around the jawline/neck when I'm about to ovulate - attractive lol. I'm not hairy but can't put on weight to save my life - but think that's just my genes.
Oh well in either case I still got pregnant so will just keep using my opks!0 -
also when we questioned the sperm analysis being done in my name we was told it was normal practice for all referrals and tests to be on the woman's file xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6
