Yes it was my third miscarriage. I actually knew before then, just had a feeling something had gone wrong, but everyone else told me I wa sbeing silly and then we went for the scan and it had died at the exact time that I started saying I thought something had happened.

I knew with the first three, the fourth was a chemical so I had no time to know anything, and the fifth one I just started spotting unexpectedly at 10 weeks.

The worst way to find out was at the scan. That was just awful.

But yes, chance for most people who are not me is that it won't happen again! I'm just very unlucky to have a blood clotting disorder :(

I felt that something was wrong too, and people kept saying oh how exciting its your scan don't worry everything will be fine, and I was thinking but it might not be stop saying that! I thought something was wrong because my sickness improved but I had read it was normal fir that to happen at 9-10 weeks so ill never know if it was a coincidence or not. I just felt like something wasn't right.

So when you get pregnant again do you have to take medicine / get an injection or something?

Birdie - great news about your scan/results. Are you going to see what happens over the next few months? Hope Tuesdays BD did the job for you :)

Skint - would love to join you but unfortunately there is no end in sight with this cycle so goodness knows where I'm going to be at Valentines :(

abis - I had bloods done but they didn't show if I'd ovulated as it was at the end of a very long cycle (70+ days) so when I go and get my results tomorrow I am going to ask for Day 21 bloods. Hope you are OK x

Welcome chocoholic_chick - do you want to be added to the list? If so what Cycle Day are you on?

Amy hope you feel better soon lovely, how horrible for you at work. Love to you x

head_in_clouds - welcome to you too :) would you like to be added to the list?

Lily I've had the same issue re IC and CB opks before. Are they different sensitivities?

Nessie & emylou - welcome I've added you to the lists also.

Not much happening with me, just waiting for my Drs appointment for scan results.

I would love to be added, i am 11 dpo xx :o

  • Congratulations bride2be, sprinkle some of that baby dust over here before you hop over to the next forum stage in your journey:j
Well it has been a fabulous snowy day here, but couldnt really enjoy it as i have a awful bladder infection. When i went to the docs he asked me if i was pregnant about ten times, and even when i explained it was too early to tell and told him when i ovulated, he still insisted on doing a test, which of course was a bfn :(

Oh well wheat bag and cranberry juice for me - exciting times lol:rotfl:
Hope everyone has a fab weekend xx

I definitely knew with my last mc too. There was one day where I just couldn't settle and knew things weren't right. When I had my scan, the dates when they thought baby's heart stopped marched that weird feeling day exactly.

I think most women are in tune with their bodies and they do know if something is wrong. I think fear overrode things with DD and I never felt relaxed and happy about the pregnancy because of having lost the first pregnancy.

And now I think I will never ever relax again! But I will get early scans next time every two weeks from finding out so I will at least have some monitoring.

Yes, I will inject heparin daily till about 6 weeks after I give birth.

I saved some heparin shots from my recent surgery so that when I get PG again I have some to take immediately. Bit naughty really but I know how to inject it in my tummy and it is the right dose.

That *should* make it OK assuming there are no other issues. It certainly increases my chances anyway, to 95 per cent from my own stat of 16 per cent. A MUCH better percentage.

No massive post from me today other than list updating as I've had my scan results. PCOS and quite badly on my right side, not sure about left. My Dr is hoping to refer me to the fertility specialist but not sure if she can because the criteria is TTC for 2 years.
