Hugs to all those with a crap time and CD1s xx

CD10 here and still low temp and no OV so I guess this cycle should be longer than the last ones if Luteal phase is usually 14 days. My last two cycle were almost a week short (21 and 25 days). Managed a BD last night but might be too early and we're away for the weekend so I guess this month is out but that's fine.

Loads of baby dust for you all

  • Hi new people,
*hugs* Elsie, just been through this myself in the last week. Think my OH is hiding how he feels too.
I have now let it sink in that there will be no pg for me this year, so will carrying hoping, but make other plans to keep us busy in the mean time.
I see it as, you know what your dealing with now and get the help you need

Hugs to all who need them, especially Elsie, Maire and Mrs TM for bad news and / or CD1.

I've finally worked up the courage to get the US results and the good news is that I don't appear to have PCOS. However, unfortunately it's shown that I have a bicornuate uterus, and the GP has decided to refer me to a gynae to 'see what can be done' :o

It all sounded very ominous and as soon as I asked about the test results her whole demeanor and tone changed - don't think it's good news, although she said she couldn't answer any questions about it beyond a basic description as she's not an expert :(

My sister in law has one of those & has a 3 year old. So did one of the ladies who used to post on here who now has a baby. It doesn't mean you can't get pregnant!

Plus - just to add - I think its pretty bad that she could have done some research on it before giving you the results and freaking you out! I was saying to dh just a couple of days ago, perhaps I should have become a gp - earn a load of money and just know the basics, and refer people to specialists for anything else!!

Big hugs Maire. I remember when you got your bfp.

Elsie, sorry to hear that. Maybe see if your DH can take some supplements to help before the next test? Although I think I read before it can take 3 months for it to give an improvement.but I guess at least they aren't wasting time getting you referred.

Birdie maybe your bfp is just around the corner then!

Hugs to all with bad news / CD1
I'm off to do my day 21 test in an hour - wish me luck.
As it's my third month of clomid I really need my progesterone to be high
I'm losing my motivation to diet - it's easy the first few weeks but now I've lost a bit of weight (around 11 lbs) I need to give myself a big shove up the bum to lose some more
Not easy in cold miserable january
Thinking of committing to running a 5 or 10k race in the spring so I have something to get fit for.
Maybe I could do it for a baby /pregnancy related charity like SANDS or tommies

On a slightly more amusing note I just pointed out the snow to my little one who's never seen snow before. Its quite powdery snow here and he said 'milk!' I think he thinks there's a giant canister of SMA in the sky!
  • Good luck an9i77

Elsie, my OH is taking supplements now, not sure what effect they will have, but it helps him feel like he's doing something towards things.
    It's still a shock thou

Overcome the notion that you must be ordinary. It robs you of the chance to be extraordinary!

Well today is the day the oh is meant to be is it cd1? And no sign so far she's on a half day today so might see if she wants to do a test if it's the same when she gets home do you think it's too soon?

I know it can happen a day or 2 late but got a funny feeling but if it's not to be it's not to be up to the big guy up there

  • Hello ladies

I am new to the forum but have been lurking for a while :D We are ttc #2 since Dec. We have a 1 yo little girl and we were very lucky that she came along easily. Since I had her I have had 5 periods, cycles anything between 31 and 38 days so not sure whether I've been ovulating every time?? I stopped BF in Dec hoping my hormones would level out over the next few months

Trying to go for the chilled out approach  which is easier said than done...
