Hi ladies, and welcome to all the new people
Congrats to Bride2Be, how lucky that you caught so quickly! Best of luck for a lovely healthy pregnancy
Vesper - I'd say go for it! I have a bottle of leftover mulled wine in the cupboard and I'm thinking of cracking into it this weekend, it's definitely the right sort of weather for it.
Amy, I'm sure there was another lady who posted on here not so long ago (or maybe on the previous thread while I was still lurking?) and she posted a scan picture of it, it was heart shaped and actually looked quite pretty!
Firefly - LOVE your covert plan for Code, better than any Bond movie
Good luck to Mr and Mrs Wigan for testing, let us know, fingers crossed.
AFM. FF has moved my crosshairs for the third time this month and is now telling me I'm 7 dpo. My temps are all lower than usual this month. If FF is right then we stopped BDing two days before OV which is annoying but DH was worn out!
I'm still torturing myself by watching OBEM. I'm working from home today due to snow and have my iPad propped up beside my computer so I can watch while I work which is naughty really!
Well done to everyone who has been losing weight, you're all doing very well. I missed my WW meeting this week due to work (couldn't be avoided) but have played squash once, done a spin class and had a run on the treadmill so not too bad.
Hugs to all the wine & chocolate zone.0 -

I am new to the forum but have been lurking for a whileWe are ttc #2 since Dec. We have a 1 yo little girl and we were very lucky that she came along easily. Since I had her I have had 5 periods, cycles anything between 31 and 38 days so not sure whether I've been ovulating every time?? I stopped BF in Dec hoping my hormones would level out over the next few months
Trying to go for the chilled out approach  which is easier said than done...
Wanted to say a special hello to you because you have the best username ever!! :rotfl:0 -
Congratulations bride2be2012 on the bfp. Hope you have a smooth pregnancy.
Well OH did the home test and the results are not good. Hoping we did it wrong but I doubt it. We are going to repeat it next week with the second test to make sure. We knew this was a possibility but to see it in front of your eyes is different. OH has been unusually quiet since the result and doesn't want to talk.
I'm not sure about how my temping is going. Can someone help me please? My temps so far are

they're fine, they should jump up a bit after OV hopefully in a couple of days and stay higher (0.3-0.5) till just before AF arrives.DEBT 02/25: total £6100 Debt free date 12/250 -
January i'm sorry to hear that, are you able to afford to go private for a medical test? there's lots they can do for sperm issues so it would be worth it imo to go just to talk through your options.
Your temps look fairly consistent so i'd say they're right. the shift after Ov should be easy to spot as it's quite significant so don't worry about a few odd temps at the start of your cycle
Congratulations to Bride2Be, wish we all could be so lucky for it to be so fasthope you have a happy and healthy nine months
Hello to MincePieMonster, hope you're stay here is quick and painless
AFM not much, think i'm CD43? given up on anything happening before march and resigned myself to clomid, makes things easier really in a way.
today is a bit bittersweet as it's my friends baby's first birthday and my due date was meant to be the day after hers. which i really thought i would be pregnant by but it's now a year later and nothing...
lost 1lb at weigh in yesterday but had a few treats last week so i know why that is lol xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

CONGRATULATIONS bridetobe!!!!! :j:beer:
Welcome to mincepiemonster
HUgs for all the CD1s. I am also CD1 today so will be testing around V-day.
If anyone wants adding to the V-Day list let me know. Put it in red so I can find it easily.
It's CD1 for me. Knew it was coming.
If I hadn't miscarried last summer, I'd be going on mat leave next week n due in three weeks.
Hopes I'd have a bfp by due date. Not happening
Anyway, that's another month to drop a few pounds!
Yeah, me too Maire. I should have been giving birth next week, assuming at 40 weeks. On a slightly more amusing note I just pointed out the snow to my little one who's never seen snow before. Its quite powdery snow here and he said 'milk!' I think he thinks there's a giant canister of SMA in the sky!
Ha ha. Milk has only ever come from boobs or cows in our house but I can see where he's coming from!Hugs to all who need them, especially Elsie, Maire and Mrs TM for bad news and / or CD1.
I've finally worked up the courage to get the US results and the good news is that I don't appear to have PCOS. However, unfortunately it's shown that I have a bicornuate uterus, and the GP has decided to refer me to a gynae to 'see what can be done'
It all sounded very ominous and as soon as I asked about the test results her whole demeanor and tone changed - don't think it's good news, although she said she couldn't answer any questions about it beyond a basic description as she's not an expert
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm sure you are Googling yourself, but here's some links with some info:

January_23 (by the way is that your birthday? It's mine too) my cousin's husband has sperm issues - he doesn't have very many and what he does have don't swim - and they have managed to have one child naturally although they have not managed to have another one, even through IVF because her collected eggs went off after her first try and she can;t face doing it again.
But they did have one child and the doctors were amazed when they found out AFTERWARDS that his sperm are really substandard. So it can happen.I dont think i knew that skint. So sorry you found out that way too. Sort of takes the shine off it for me now I will be terrified the next time. Just have to remember chances are it won't happen again.
Yes let's hope 2013 is lucky for all of us!
Yes it was my third miscarriage. I actually knew before then, just had a feeling something had gone wrong, but everyone else told me I wa sbeing silly and then we went for the scan and it had died at the exact time that I started saying I thought something had happened.
I knew with the first three, the fourth was a chemical so I had no time to know anything, and the fifth one I just started spotting unexpectedly at 10 weeks.
The worst way to find out was at the scan. That was just awful.
But yes, chance for most people who are not me is that it won't happen again! I'm just very unlucky to have a blood clotting disorder:cool: DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :cool::heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j

I suppose me having rather short cycles is good for us as it means more tries in a year. Trying to see a positive. We could afford private I think. We have some savings but yesterday we agreed on the date for our wedding so most of our savings will be used to get married! Typical timing, lol.
TeamLowe I want to give you a dodgy hug :grouphug: and well done on the weight loss. 1lb loss is still a loss!

We understand there is still a chance but it seems so small. It is nice to hear it does happen though.
We are young so we have that on our side. This was the main reason we didn't want to wait untill we were older as we knew this was a likely issue. Now I'm sure we've made the correct choice in trying for a child earlier in life. Now we have more of a chance.
