Does your chart change if you take away the Ewcm for those two days?
I am sure you did have Ewcm but your body could have geared up to ov and then changed its mind.

i wanna save money! - My mom is a year older than one of her uncles, so there shouldn't be a problem. If it were me, I'd tell him honestly to get over it. Ok, maybe that wouldn't be the best approach. Have you spoken to him about how this has made you feel? If not, that's where I would start. Hopefully some of the other wonderful ladies on this thread will chime in soon and good luck!

Hi wannasave, sorry you're feeling so down right now and I'm sorry for your losses. I hope that your OH's change of mind is just a reaction to the shock, maybe with a little time to process it he'll come back round.

Nowadays there are so many families where a child's aunt/uncle can be younger than they are due to people re-marrying (or just carrying on!) after having their first children young and having more babies whilst their oldest children start having babies too, unfortunately some are having babies whilst still in their teens thus closing the gap even more. There are women in their 40s having babies and it is perfectly possible that a woman could have a child who is in their mid-20s as well as a baby so there's possibility of an overlap between children and grandchildren if her children were to begin young also. Whenever these massive families of a dozen kids are in the papers there are a couple of grandkids thrown into the mix too just to illustrate how it can happen!

I think part of the problem here lies in that people seem too keen to breed from an early age and we need to re-open the generational gap but that isn't going to happen so we just have to realise that things aren't as easy as having the nuclear family any more!

Sorry if that's a little waffly or offensive to anyone, I'm not great with getting my point across very well!

Kind of OT but I find the thought of a 32 year old grandmother seriously scary! :eek:

Also, jumping on the weight loss band wagon with you lot. I weighed myself this morning and was shocked. So shocked I cried. I knew I'd put on a bit but jesus...talk about porky pig.

So, it's started today. Along with not biting my nails anymore. I tend to work best when I crash diet...mainly because I end up sticking to it and I need to see fast results or else I become disheartened. I'm currently tucking into a slimfast shake made with water (not milk) and done in the blender with extra ice. It's actually very pleasant.

I'm also going to cut out carbs because I eat a lot of them. I'm quite happy to post my weight loss figure each week. It'll probably help keep me motivated. Yeah!

Not really sure what to advise etc, but my parents split and I was 23 when my mum had my little brother. Realistically I could have had a couple of children by then, and some people even thought he was mine or my sisters....
Maybe give him a day or two to come to terms with it and then have a talk with him. As others have said it's not so unusual nowadays xx

I watched a film/documentary last night called Catfish has anyone seen it? Some young guy falls in love with a woman similar age cut a long story short she was an older woman and tricked him but when they went to see her she spilled everything and was just a woman looking for another outlet i started to feel sorry for her but then again she did play with someones emotions
